Situated in the capital city of Switzerland, Bern, is the Zytglogge Astronomical Clock Tower, known to be the masterpiece of mediaeval clockmaking. The name Zytglogge translates to ‘time bell’, or Zeitglocke in German: meaning a primitive timekeeping device that included a clock mechanism with a hammer striking a bell every hour. The astronomical clock gained the significance of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and overlooks the streets of the old town.

The Titlis Cliff Walk is stunning in the heart of the Swiss Alps. It shows how creative people can be and how beautiful nature is. There are more than 3,000 meters of height above sea level on this exciting suspension bridge, which is 100 meters long. The Bern Cathedral, also known as the Münster of Bern or the Das Berner Munster, is a Swiss-Reformed cathedral located in the Old City of Bern. Known to be the tallest cathedral in Switzerland, the late mediaeval cathedral has a height of 100.6 m (330 ft) and is known as a cultural property of national significance. The cathedral is built in Gothic style and has a bell tower overlooking the Bernese Oberland. To reach the vantage point of the tower, you need to climb 344 steps. One of the Swiss gems, Lucerne City holds an old and unique charm to it. Lucerne’s City Hall or Rathaus, is located in the heart of the Old Town. The famous 140-meter (459-foot) high Jet d'Eau (which means "water stream") fountain is in Lake Geneva in the southwest of Switzerland.

Stroll along the Kapellbrücke, or Chapel Bridge, a covered wooden footbridge stretching diagonally over the Reuss River in the heart of Lucerne, Switzerland. Named after St. Peter’s Chapel located nearby, the unique bridge is one of the oldest in Europe and dates back to 1333. Initially stretching over 200 meters, the bridge is currently 170 meters long and connects Altstadt, the old Lucerne to its modern counterpart.
