All Women's Tour From Srinagar To Delhi Via Leh

Itinerary

• Day 1 -

  Arrive in Srinagar and get picked up from airport to mark the beginning of your vacation.

  Get transferred to the houseboat and spend the day at leisure and gear up for your upcoming adventurous trip.

  Overnight stay in a houseboat in Srinagar

• Day 2 -

  After breakfast, proceed to Kargil.

  Enroute cross the mystic meadows of Sonmarg, tortuous Zojila followed by Drass Memorial, before finally arriving at Kargil also known as the gateway to Ladakh.

  Check in to your hotel.

  Around 4 pm, proceed to Hunderman village (this excursion shall be done only if time permits). It was under Pakistani occupation until 1971 when India won it back during the Indo-Pak war. The village is home to 1000 year old structures currently being researched by ASI (Archaeological Survey of India). Across the border see Pakistani bunkers, tomb of a famous saint from the region and Pakistani flag.

  Overnight stay in camps at Kargil.

• Day 3 -

  After Breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Leh

  Enroute visit 30ft long Maitreya Buddha, later visit Lamayuru, Likir & Alchi Monastery, followed by Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib & Hall of fame.

  Also check the confluence of Indus & Zanskar river called Sangam by locals.

  Overnight in hotel at Leh.

• Day 4 -

  After Breakfast, move towards highest motorable road of the world, Khardung La Pass.

  On the way have a cup of tea and get yourself photographed with the Khardung La Signboard by BRO & proceed towards Nubra valley and visit Deskit Monastery on the way.

  After reaching, check-in at camps, freshen up & later have a double hump Bactarian Camel ride. These camels were once used to carry the trade material on silk route to Central Asia.

  Overnight in camps at Nubra valley.

• Day 5 -

  After Breakfast, check out from the camps & visit Deskit Monastery, hot water springs at Panamik via confluence of Shyok & Nubra river across Sumoor.

  Return to Leh by evening.

  Overnight in hotel at Leh.

  Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

• Day 6 -

  After Breakfast, check out from Leh & visit Shey and Thiksey monasteries at Leh.

  Later proceed for one of the most beautiful & scenic, salt water Pangong Lake at Spangmik via Changla Pass (17350 ft).

  Various Bollywood movies have been shot at this lake. One-third of this lake is controlled by India & rest of the two-third lies under Chinese province.

  Enjoy the bonfire in evening with your co-travelers turned friends.

  Overnight stay in camps near Pangong Lake.

• Day 7 -

  After Breakfast, check out from camps for return journey to Leh.

  Enroute visit Hemis Monastery & 3-Idiots School. Reach Leh in the evening and relax.

  Overnight in hotels at Leh.

• Day 8 -

  After Breakfast at the hotel, depart by 8:00am to reach Jispa in due time. This is going to be the longest travel day, which will take around 12 hours.

  Enroute come across Upshi, Tanglangla, Moore Plains, Sarchu, Baralacha-la, before finally arriving at Jispa. This route is most loved by shutterbug community, for the amazing snow cladded landscapes & tortuous roads. Spend the evening at your leisure.

  Overnight in hotel at Jispa.

• Day 9 -

  After early Breakfast, start your journey to Manali via Keylong and pass through the beautiful and snow clad mountains.

  Reach Manali in the evening and have a delicious and hot dinner.

  Overnight stay in cottages in Manali.

• Day 10 -

  Have breakfast in the morning and get ready to explore the scenic city of Manali today.

  In Manali visit Hadimba Temple, Vashisht & Solang Valley.

  In the evening, depart for Dehli at around 4.30 PM.

• Day 11 -

  On this day, reach Dehli at around 7 AM in the morning.

  End of tour with amazing memories.
