About the tour:
Tinnakara Island is referred to as the jewel of the Lakshadweep Islands and part of the Bangaram Atoll off the western coast of the Indian peninsula. The tiny, tear-drop shaped island is idyllically covered in palms, offering white sand beaches on its western side and views of serene, crystal clear emerald waters. Snorkelers can feast their eyes on a diverse array of sea life that dwells in the coral. Tinnakara is uninhabited and visitors in need of respite can relax in the peaceful solitude the island offers. During the nights, phosphorescent plankton washed ashore on the coral sands imparts a blue glow to the beach which is totally enchanting.

Witness magnificent lagoons, sylvan sea shores, spectacular marine flora and fauna, stay in sea-facing tents, travel in sanitized transport, and savour the local delicacies that you won't find anywhere else.

Stay:
Stay in Swiss tents on a double sharing basis. All tents are well maintained with en suite bathrooms, twin/double bed, power points, and small sitting area in front of the tents.

Meals:
Enjoy local and international cuisine in breakfast, lunch and dinner, at open beach barbeque and beach bar as a part of the tour package. Enjoy some of the most iconic delicacies during your stay, as well as local cuisines that are simply exceptional.

Transport:
Boat transfer: Agatti – Tinnakara – Agatti
Land transfer: Agatti Airport to Boat Jetty and back from a non-ac hatchback or sedan car

  • Day 1 - Aggati; Welcome to Lakswadeep Islands

    Aggati; Welcome to Lakswadeep Islands

    Arrival at Agatti airport and complete the process of your permits and documentation. After the permit procedure transfer to Thinnakara Island by speed vessel.

    The 45 minutes boat ride will grant you serene views of the ocean on your way to Thinnakara Island

    Check into the Swiss Tents. Today is a day for leisure, savour local delicacies, admire the corals, and soak in the beachy settings.

    Have a delightful dinner, and relax in your tents with the soothing sound of the sea

  • Day 2 - Thinnakara; Enthrall with the water-sports of Lakshadweep

    After breakfast, the day is free for water sports and dives

    You can enjoy snorkelling, speed boat ride, fishing, sailboat, water skiing, scuba diving, etc.

    During the sunset, you can spot some corals by the beach, or simply relax by the beach and enjoy marvellous landscapes

    Relish all meals served at the restaurant with a scenic view

    Overnight stay in huts

  • Day 3 - Bangaram Island; Visit the tear-shaped coral paradise

    After your delicious breakfast, head-out for a scenic Bangaram Island Tour (on your own)

    Adore the island’s pristine beaches, the vibrant coral reefs, many different fishes and few of the adventure sports

    In the evening, you can sunbathe at the beach, enjoy a game of beach volleyball, or just sit back and enjoy marvellous landscapes all around

  • Day 4 - It’s time to say goodbye

    After breakfast, depart to Agatti airport and connect the flight and back to Cochin
