While planning for 8D/7N trip to Sikkim, I stumbled upon thrillophia website. With the help of Sravan, we booked our trip. Although our trip was entirely planned for Sikkim, due to landslide in Lachung, we rerouted to Darjeeling for 2 Days. The support from Thrillophia during the trip was impeccable. They were constantly in touch and always catering to our requirements. Although we planned our trip in monsoon and landslides were expected, Himanshu was always there to support and change the plans accordingly. Due to which we faced no difficulties and are back with many good memories. Sikkim- 5/5 I would like to give 10/5 though ☺️, but keeping the excitement in check as it seems unrealistic for outsider. I would recommend everyone to visit Sikkim once in their lifetime. Darjeeling: 4/5 rating: There’s no fault either on hotel’s part or on the thrillophilia’s. Its the people especially the local drivers. Overall the experience was good and we really appreciate Thrillophilia for always being there to help and support us.

Excellently arranged trip by Trillophillia for my travel to Sikkim and Darjeeling for 8 days and 7 nights. Hotels were comfortable to stay with good views. Food was delicious and hygienic. Overall the trip went well and POC from Thrillophilia (Himanshu) and Christmas Tree (Manisha), were helpful and prompt in resolving queries and issues. The drivers assigned were knowledgeable and professional. Hotel rooms were spacious and had essential amenities. Improvement points: Cost factor for hotels provided was a little mismatched. Could have provided a more standard hotel for the price paid for the trip. Overall a recommended trip.

Do Drul Chorten

Coronation Throne of Namgyal Dynasty

The Coronation Throne (Norbugang) in Yuksom is located under a centuries-old pine tree. It marks the 1642 crowning of Phuntsog Namgyal by three Nyingma lamas, which started Sikkim's Namgyal dynasty. This stone platform, which faced east and had four staggered seats, was a place of honour for spiritual and royal roles: Lhatsun Chempo, Phuntsog, and two attendant lamas. On the other side is the Norbugang Chorten, which was made from soil and stones from all over Sikkim. Its core is filled with treasures that were given during the consecration ceremony, which lasted 21 days.There is a stone footprint of Lhatsun Chempo by the altar, which is a real relic under the fluttering prayer flags. Kathok Lake is next door, and its holy waters were used in ritual baths. As part of an ASI-protected pilgrimage park with a prayer hall, prayer wheel, and native plants, it is a peaceful place to stop and start Yuksom's trek and spiritual circuit.
