About the Activity:

  • Get picked up from the meeting site in central Budapest and travel to Paty, a tiny wine-producing village just 20 minutes outside of the city.
  • Be curious and learn about Hungary's 1000-year-old wine tradition from your guide on the route to Paty.
  • When you arrive in the vicinity, you will notice a number of old cellars dating back to the 1880s.
  • Meet the winemakers at the area's two wineries, one of which is noted for manufacturing organic wine.
  • Make your way to the winemakers cellars to sample at least four wines at each site.
  • The host will create a tapas plate of olives, ham, sausages, and various cheeses in the last wine cellar, all of which are produced in the area by farmers.
  • Capture the memories in your camera and cap off this amazing trip by heading back to Budapest.

  • By Car: Hire a cab and come via Kossuth Lajos u. route to reach your destination within 12 minutes.
  • By Train: From Clark Ádám tér take N19 train and reach at Deák Ferenc tér M within 20 minutes. THen walk for at least 2 minutes to reach your destination.
