Itinerary

• Day 1 - Bhubaneswar

  Nandankanan Wildlife Sanctuary.

  Upon your arrival at Bhubaneswar airport, you will be escorted to the hotel. After getting refreshed in the hotel, you will be taken to for a sightseeing tour of the Nandankanan Wildlife Sanctuary.

  Nandankanan; meaning ‘Garden of Gods’ is the ideal home to some of the exotic wildlife including the majestic White Tigers. After an enchanting tour of the sanctuary, return to the hotel.

  Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2 - Bhubaneswar – Simlipal (253 kms – 5 hours by road)

  Nearby attraction places in Simlipal.

  After having breakfast in the hotel, you will be driven to Simlipal. Check-in into the hotel and after unleashing your luggage, you can either relax in the hotel or visit some of the nearby attraction places. Simlipal Sitakund, Bhimkund, Deokund and Lulung are the nearby places to visit.

  Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 - Simlipal

   Simlipal National Park

  Today, you will be taken for a full-day excursion of the spectacular Simlipal National Park. Located amidst ‘semul’ or the ‘red silk cotton’ trees, this park is an exquisite home to the massive tuskers and imposing Bengal Tigers.

  The Joranda and Barehipani falls adds to the mesmerising beauty of the park. Different species of orchids flourishes the extravagant magnificence of the park.

  The park also has a myriad list of exotic avifauna like Grey Hornbill and Indian Trogon. Mugger Crocodiles are one of the major attractions of the park. Other wildlife of the park includes Gaurs, Chausingha, Wild Boar, Leopard,Barking Deer and many more.

  Along with the park some other places like Gurguria, Chahala, Ramatirtha and Nawana can also be visited.

  Post the sightseeing tour, return to the hotel; overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 4 - Simlipal to Bhadrak (110 kms – 2 hours by road)

  Baba Akhandalmani and Maa Bhadrakali temples.

  Post breakfast in the hotel, check-out from the hotel. Hereafter, you will be driven to Bhadrak, a suburb which is extremely popular for its Kali Puja.

  Upon arrival at Bhadrak, check-in into a hotel and relax for a while. Later, you will be taken for a visit to sacred ‘Baba Akhandalmani’ and ‘Maa Bhadrakali’ temples. Post these visits, you will be free to relax in the hotel.

  Overnight stay in Bhadark hotel.

• Day 5 - Bhadrak to Bhitarkanika (129 kms)

  Motor boat cruise around Bhitarkanika, Forest lodge.

  After having breakfast in the hotel, you will be driven to Chandabali. From Chandabali, a motor-boat cruise will take you Dangamal. Till evening, you can cruise around Bhitarkanika and before it gets dark, you will be transferred to the forest lodge in Bhitarkanika.

• Day 6 - Bhitarkanika to Bhubaneswar.

  Wildlife, Olive Ridley Turtle nesting grounds.

  Upon having breakfast in the forest lodge, get ready for an enticing tour to one of the islands in the Bay of Bengal. While on this island, you can easily spot Wild Boars, Hyenas, Jackals and Dolphins. Also, visit the nesting grounds of the Olive Ridley Turtle on the beachside at Garhimata.

  After completing the sightseeing tours, you will be driven back to Bhubaneswar. Overnight stay at a hotel in Bhubaneswar.

• Day 7 - Bhubaneswar.

  Trip ends here.

  Here onwards, you will be dropped at the Bhubaneswar airport/railway station.
