Orana Wildlife Park is an open-range zoo spread over a wide area just outside Christchurch. It is home to more than 70 species from all over the world, including rhinos, gorillas, and white rhinos, among others. Unlike regular zoos, Orana allows animals more than just a natural space. With your admission ticket, enjoy access to immersive feeding sessions, listen stories by the keepers, and take a ride on the safari shuttle operating throughout the park.

Since most of the area of the park is open. Therefore, in summers, guests must wear a hat and apply sunscreen. In cold months, do bring a light jacket or something warm to wear.
Kindly check the schedule at the entrance for the feeding sessions and keeper talks, so don't miss on any experience.
Respect all the animals with respect. Kindly don't touch, feed, or disturb the animals unless you're in designated feeding areas and with the keepers.
Kids must be supervised by adults at all times. Because of the open areas, running and climbing the barriers is strictly prohibited.
Do follow the marked paths and signage put inside the park. Entering the restricted zones is not allowed under any circumstances.
