Liked the whole experience. The best part was we got a good group of people and it was worth spending time with them during the trip. Food was good in the hotel stay and camping tent. However, staff were very polite but food quality can be improved. Shubham was very helpful and kept a track of our safety and itinerary during the whole trip.

Do Drul Chorten

Embark on a spiritual journey at Do Drul Chorten, a famous Buddhist stupa in Gangtok, Sikkim to experience the rich Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Tashiding Monastery

Located on a hill in West Sikkim, Tashiding Monastery is among the holiest Buddhist sites, radiating peace and spiritual vitality. It was founded by Ngadak Sempa Chempo Phunshok Rigzing of the Nyingma sect in 1641. Surrounded by panoramic views of snow-capped mountains, including the magnificent Kanchenjunga, it provides beautiful scenery. The revered Thong-Wa-Rang-Dol chortens, which are said to wipe sins with a single glance, are found in the monastery.Every year, pilgrims assemble for the Bumchu Festival when the opening of a holy vase forecasts Sikkim's fate. Tashiding is a great place for both nature lovers and spiritual seekers since complex prayer flags, centuries-old stone tablets bearing mantras, and the chants of monks foster dedication and peace.

Coronation Throne of Namgyal Dynasty

The Coronation Throne (Norbugang) in Yuksom is located under a centuries-old pine tree. It marks the 1642 crowning of Phuntsog Namgyal by three Nyingma lamas, which started Sikkim's Namgyal dynasty. This stone platform, which faced east and had four staggered seats, was a place of honour for spiritual and royal roles: Lhatsun Chempo, Phuntsog, and two attendant lamas. On the other side is the Norbugang Chorten, which was made from soil and stones from all over Sikkim. Its core is filled with treasures that were given during the consecration ceremony, which lasted 21 days.There is a stone footprint of Lhatsun Chempo by the altar, which is a real relic under the fluttering prayer flags. Kathok Lake is next door, and its holy waters were used in ritual baths. As part of an ASI-protected pilgrimage park with a prayer hall, prayer wheel, and native plants, it is a peaceful place to stop and start Yuksom's trek and spiritual circuit.
