As all the members of our trekking group were from the southern tip of India, we all were excited to conquer the northern tip of India. And after we started with the course of ttrekking we really came to know why people says that opposite poles always attracts. The Markha Valley has a unique factor to make the trekkers come again and again.

Though I completed this trek around 10 months back, its memories that reflects in my mind are still fresh and the same. Being a trekker, the moment I got to witness the Himalayas along with other peaks like Zanskar and Ladakh ranges, all my dreams came true. Nice and extremely adventurous trek. Note: it can be best enjoyed if you have prior experience in the Himalayas or trekking.

It’s like those moments when all you hear is just the sound of you breathing. Silence everywhere and wow…what a relief – no traffic, no people taking just you and the wind. That’s it.

Nobody can explain the beauty of nature, because nature always surprised us by giving a such wonderful gift . It was such a challenging and a magical journey for me and my cousins to walk up the mountain peak but had a fun with my brothers and sisters. It was a great day with family and the place was really wonderful with an awesome valley. It was like walking on the clouds, the valley was heaven on earth. All in all the entire trekking experience was so much fun and had a great time, loved the entire experience.

Markha Valley trail is an amazing place to visit and trek. it is difficult as you pass through some huge passes in this trek. but as you move you just get in love with the place. also i had to make a lot of lifts and jumps during the trek, so it was challenging to me but and i was happy that i finished it.

The first though that came in my mind was, am I in Tibet!!! Literally speaking, the Markha Valley can be called as the reflection of Tibet. Even the peace and serenity that exists here resembles with that of Tibet. But again, you have to very careful on the trek to the valley. Compete the challenging trails and routes and you can enjoy the experiences at the best!!!

It won’t be wrong if I describe Markha valley as an end of the world. Just no contact with the world….and that is something you cannot experience otherwise. Mini Tibet or a massive beauty bomb…worth giving a shot guys.

We started from Leh, and explored places like Rumbak Villages, Stream crossing, ascending and descending trek, then reached the Kangyate peak and the trip was full of adventures, watching new places was like discovering them for the first time.

Can’t forget that 9 day trip to MArkha Valley with my team, enjoyed the whole trekking trip and camping. Our tour guides and leader mad made all the arrangements of tools and food items before embarking the trek and that really helped us on the way. The best trekking destination for a strong group.

Even the music in my earphones appeared an utter disturbance that was bothering with the otherwise calmness of this full place. Truly, truly a magical place.

The costs incurred in accommodation in Leh was somehow  problem to us but the experience we had in trekking in Markha Valley was worth it. Spending money and worth remembering. We all had some memorable time out there.

If No pollution, no crowd and no noise is what you expect in the place than this one is worth visiting. The trail between Grandala La and Kogumaza La pass was amazing. The people there was helpful and friendly. This was an eye-opening experience for me.

Good for strong people, a lot hardships required to complete the trekking in Markha Valley. Some points are really slippery and straight.
