Lohagad trek was really easy, and easily exessaible. we tooka train from pune to lonavala and got down at malavi stn. we started our trek from the malavi station. it was a really easy and beautiful trek. the rain made it perfect to climb making it a bit adventurous. once on top you will actually fall in the love of the view. pne side yoou see beautiful pawna lake and another side the express highway and kamshet hill. it was really good we had a group who was chill and wanted to explore. also, dont forget to go to the scorpion stretch!. its amazing part of the fort and a long beautiful walk. just go for it and enjoy the rains.

Had lots of fun exploring the trekking and adventurous side of me on this trek. Being a single person travelling, I was worried that I would get bored! But the group was so good and vibrant and the organisers also ensured that we had a lot of fun! The trekking is relatively easy and not very taxing!

A beautiful fort in a beautiful location, good roads to the base and an easy climb make Lohagad fort one of the more popular destinations to visit close to Pune. But thankfully, it has survived the commercialisation and the mess that Sinhagad fort has been subjected to. The fort is still in a good condition and relatively clean.

Its strange but we decided to celebrate a friend's birthday at this place. And man, that was a perfect surprise! Loved the entire trail. And, the surrounding beauty adds all the more fictional touch to this Fort. Great experience.

trekking on this route was really amazing. especially, exploring the old lohagad fort during your trek, far away from the hustle and bustle of city, so quite so peaceful...loved it alot really.

The best time to visit this place is in the monsoons. the trek up the steps is easy and anyone who is new to trekking can begin with this place. the natural beauty from atop the hill is awesome. The rains added to the beauty. Good weekend getaway. the trek up the fort can be completed in around 2 hours.

If you are a nature lover and like to watch the green cover during the monsoon and enjoy the fresh air - visit Lohagad. Not a tough trek but once atop the fort the view is fabulous, watch the highway traffic whizz past. You are surrounded by clouds and if it is raining trying to find a shelter. Of course you have insects and creep's all around. Monkeys can also be found in abundance

Lohagad is one of the forts in Maharashtra that is still more or less intact. It has retained its original historical structures and beauty, the vistas around the fort are simply breathtaking! Very well orgamised trek and meticulous planning. Kudoz to you guys!

It was nice to visit this fort, too crowded with people who are just there for fun purpose. The fort approach has stairs so was not much like trek. The view and fort is amazing.
