About Family Camping: 

Kamp Kalakund is a perfect place for family camping, It has a large area to set up multiple and separate campsites for each family group. Each family will have a separate Instructor, Washrooms, Dining area, Playing zone, Parking zone & Sanitize tents which will be pitched 30-50 meters apart from each other to ensure social distancing.

Kalakund Family camping near Indore is surrounded by some of the most beautiful forests that are home to a variety of flora and fauna, alongside housing a number of adventures in the wild. A prime example of that is this amazing jungle camp on the outskirts of the city where you will get to enjoy some of the greatest experiences, in the most beautiful environs. 

The camp offers a short Jungle Trekking with 30-50 meter distance with each other to maintain social distance, which is a great way to get close to nature. A treasure hunt in the jungle will also be another fun experience. River crossing where one will be tied 5ft away from each other. 

Separate bonfire & Music setup. 

 

Please Note Before You Book: 

  • Campers are allowed only with their personal vehicle where only 4 members are allowed in one car including the driver. 

  • Campers are allowed to bring their own sanitized pillows, sheets, sleeping bags, utensils for personal hygiene. 

  • Campers are allowed only when they are wearing masks, gloves & have hand sanitizer all the time. 

  • Campers will have to go through the Thermal screening & Sanitization process before entering the campsite. 

  • Campers are not allowed to bring Kids below 10 & elders above 60 Years of age.

How to Reach Kalakund: Kamp Kalakund is located 38 km south of Indore. Take the Indore- Khandwa road till village Kalakund which is a forest checkpoint, from here take a right turn and drive for 3 km more to reach the Kamp Kalakund. Guests can only come in their own vehicles or hire a sanitized vehicle by the camp operator.

Kalakund Family Camping Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Arrive at the campsite by your personal vehicle by around 02:00 PM.

    Before entering the campsite you will have to go through the Thermal screening & sanitization process & Camping Guidelines For Post COVID will be provided.

    Walk around the vicinity and explore the location on your own.

    Once you are settled down, the Personal Instructor will be briefing you about the Guidelines.

    tea and snacks will be served in an hour.

    Personal group activities will be conducted by maintaining social distance.

    Trekking to the forest of Kalakund while maintaining the social distance and visiting the Dugdugi Mata temple.

    High Tea will be served at the bank of the beautiful choral river.

    Enjoy soothing music and a separate lively bonfire at the campsite that would be ready in the evening after dark only for your family.

    Enjoy the dinner at the camp while enjoying the beautiful evening. If you feel like spending more time gazing at the sky and its stars, all the time and space will be yours.

  • Day 2 -

    Wake up early morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise

    Before breakfast, your family will be taken to the river crossing point.

    The breakfast is served around 9 AM

    Before check-out, you have to go through the sanitization process once again.

    You may check-out from the camps by 11:00 AM.

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
