About the Activity: 

  • Explore the vast jungles of Thekkady's Periyara Wildlife Sanctuary during this jungle trail package in Konarark homestays. 
  • Start your tour by checking into the homestay at around 12:00 PM and Enjoy the Martial Arts of Kerala The Kalaripayattu and Kerala Kathakali.
  • Embark on a Jungle Jeep safari as your make your way through rugged landscapes for animal sightseeing. 
  • Boat through some of the richest forest tracts of Periyar Tiger Reserve.
  • Conclude your tour after a hearty breakfast at Konark Homestays and depart around 10:00 AM. 

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Afternoon check in Our Home Konark Homestay with welcome drink

    Enjoy the Martial Arts of Kerala The Kalaripayattu(Evening 6pm-7pm).

    Enjoy the Traditional Arts of Kerala Kathakali(Evening 7pm-8pm).

    Homely Dinner & Home-bed at Konark Homestay

  • Day 2 -

    The Jungle Jeep Safari(Food inclussive of the Saffari breakfast, lunch and tea with snacks, and the trip inclusive of Boating and Trekking (optinal))

    The program starts at 5.30am in the morning which our special Jeep will receive you from your accommodation area 40 kms scenic drive through the jungle. Then you will reach a place called Gavi (Green mansion) there you can have your breakfast and you can start the jungle trekking with specially trained guides after 3hrs trekking you will reach the Green mansion and have Lunch. After that you can have canoeing in the Gavi Lake. Then have tea and snacks and proceeding to the cottage and drop.

    7 pm. 90 minutes full body Traditional touch Ayurvedic Massage for mental & body rejuvenation .

  • Day 3 -

    The Boating (at 7.30am) through some of the richest forest tracts of Periyar Tiger Reserve. The boating is for about two hours and one gets a panoramic view of forest-clad hills reflected on the lake. Animals like elephant, gaur and sambar are sighted keeping close to the edges of the lake.

    Back in Konark have your homely breakfast and depart.
