Sitting in a mountain-hewn land bowl, against a backdrop of steep hills on one side and surrounded by pine & cedar forests on the other side, this homestay is 80 years old and a tribute to a King’s love for his Queen. The property has a distinct old-world charm where the homestay was built using stone carted all the way from Lahore and local deodar wood. The stay consists of 2 independent bedrooms with all the amenities like attached washroom, windows with a view, comfortable mattresses, etc and opens out to the patio, where you can enjoy your meals or a sit-out. A lawn and a natural spring on the property make you wanna take a stroll.
Experiences offered:
-Indoor & Outdoor games: The stay has an indoor gaming room for board games as well as five playing fields for golf, cricket, archery, etc.
-Hiking: Some Natural trails are already marked around the property. Either enjoy a comfortable stroll through the woods or Hike up a brisk uphill trail in the woods.
-Organic Farming: Guests can help with the farm work and pick their own organic vegetables for dinner.
-Daytrip to Patnitop and Nathatop: Take a day trip to Patnitop (alt. 2024m) (3km) and onwards to Nathatop (alt. 2711m) (18km) to enjoy the views of the mountains and valleys.
-Visit Sanasar lake: Visit Sanasar (alt. 2050m) (23km) to enjoy boat riding and other water sports on the Sana and Sar lakes, enjoy the verdant meadows of the place, and enjoy the views of the mountain ranges.
-Nature walk & bird watching: The stay has 2 ponds and the birds use the pond for their daily wash and song. This makes it perfect to take a walk to and around ponds and enjoy birdwatching.
-Cycling: Guests at the accommodation can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden.
Later in the evenings, you can huddle around a bonfire around the fire-pit in the lawn, enjoy warm beverages and platters of lip-smacking snacks.
