Know Before You Go for Freud Museum Tickets

  • ID proof is mandatory for each guest upon arrival.
  • All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details upon arrival.
  • Infants aged 12 years and younger can go for free and children aged 12-16 years will be charged as per child price. Adult tickets are applicable for visitors aged 17-65 years. Senior tickets are applicable for visitors aged 66 years and above. Students with valid IDs can book senior tickets.
  • There are a limited number of on-site parking spaces available for visitors with mobility difficulties. These spaces must be booked in advance of your visit.
  • Visitors who require another person as their companion or carer to enable them to visit the museum will be admitted free of charge with each paying disabled concession ticket.
  • The main entrance is via the shop at the rear of the Museum. There are 2 steps at this entrance.
  • Level access to the museum is via the original front door of the house.
  • There is level access to the museum garden via the right hand side of the house.
  • The museum has facilities to store coats and bags for visitors while they explore the museum.
  • The upstairs rooms are only accessible via the staircase in the Hall. There is a continuous rail on the left hand side of this staircase.
  • The museum does not currently have an accessible toilet.
  • There is a small visitor WC on the ground floor of the museum with baby changing facilities.
  • Seating is available in our temporary exhibition space, the Video Room, the Half Landing and in the garden. Please ask a member of staff if you need additional seating.
