Looking for a different experience in Coorg?? Well this is one of the best places to be. If you have a group (5+ people), then it is gonna be more fun. As for us, we were just 2 people - myself and my wife. But still Ashith saw to that we had a totally different experience. The tents are not the usual out in the open ones - they are beneath a small shelter. Those looking for a totally out in the open - stars in the night - experience , then this may come as a disappointment. But still, tents are tents - leaving the hotel rooms long behind. We spent one night , 2 days here. Ashith arranged a cycle tour for us - he came along as the guide. The cycle track to the nearby canal was really nice - away from the hustle and bustle of the city and into the calm and clear atmosphere between paddy fields and lush green. There are separate toilets and bathrooms - well kept and clean. We freshened up and then Ashith arranged a bonfire - the starters served were good. After an hour or so in the middle of the field surrounded by trees, we went back. After a small cool down we were invited to dinner. Dinner was also good - nothing great but still the homely feeling lingered on. I read in another review(another site) that if requested in advance they provide great pork - a secret recipe made with 9 home grown spices. Alas, I missed that out - but do go ahead and ask Ashith. In the morning we freshened up and were served breakfast. Here too nothing great to talk about - but the coffee was awesome. The coffee was grown in their own fields - unadulterated and pure. Don't take my word for it - try it and see. Tastes differ right.. After that we headed off for some activities. Ashith arranged all the activities (we did quad biking and zip lining) at his friend's place, at extra expense of course. Quad-biking was good - zip lining - well it is not great - still worth a try. In any case altogether we had a wonderful experience and Ashith is one hell of a host. He really puts in quite a lot of effort to see to it that his guests are comfortable and well provided for. Hats off bro. So if you are headed for Coorg and want to try something different, this is a good place.
