Overview

About the Destination
Ladakh sits on the claim of the most coveted Himalayan destination with no one coming anywhere close to stealing its fame. Lying on the rain shadow side of the Himalayas, Ladakh is a semi-arid region, surrounded by snowcapped mountains on all sides that follow you everywhere you go. With some of the most unusual sights in the area, Ladakh can surely be said to be a gifted region. Almost a cold desert, the major cities are somewhat of an oasis and have been in existence for a very long time and stand tall with a vivid history. But foremost of everything, Ladakh has emerged out as a prime adventure location for many road-trippers and backpackers of the country, and from overseas as well.

We planned for this trip to Ladakh last June along with my friends. It was a sudden trip cause we dicided to go to Dehradun but instead decided for the Ladakh trip. We booked the tour from Thrillophilia. Everything was very well arranged for us. We were provided with the best accommodation and food. We also had camping in this package which was like a double treat for all of us. It was a great adventure camping under the clear night sky. We visited the famous museum Hall of fame and then Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hil. We also drive to the Nubra Valley via Khardung la pass. The best part of the whole trip was our visit to the Pangong Lake. We all keep staring at the lake as it colour is so beautiful. Also, you can enjoy the glorious sunset here. We departed on the 9 th day with lots of memories. Loved the whole trip.

I can say it was a great trip and that too at a reasonable price. Last summer I booked this sightseeing tour to Ladakh along with few of my friends. The tour was for 9 days and everything was included in the package. After the booking process everything went on smooth. We were provided with all the facilities during our tour. And we had the most wonderful guide; he was not only taking care of our needs but also cracked few jokes to keep us all happy. Accommodation and food was also good. We visited some of the monasteries and it totally revived us from our tiredness. The best part of our trip was our camping , we had the most amazing views during the night time.

The tour was a good one and we also got to enjoy some of the best scenic views here. We visited some of the famous monasteries and fort here. The best part of the whole tour was out drive to the Nubra valley via Khardung la pass. We also visited the Deskit Monastery and also few of the historical places here. Great trip! I went with my collegues for this tour. Our lodging and food was average. We were joined by another group of people. Everything was well organized for our accommodation and food. The only thing was that you will have to buy your lunch at your own cost. Overall it was good trip.
