By Road: Buses and cabs are available from near cities and one can also reach Madhai by there own vehicle. Bhopal -140 km (Approx 3.5 Hrs), Hoshangabad – 70 km (Approx 1.5 Hrs)
By Air: Bhopal is the closest airport from Satpura National Park and the lodge offers to pick up and drop services on prior booking. Bhopal is well connected by multiple flights from Mumbai, Delhi, and other parts of the country by many national carriers. 
By Train: Satpura is probably the best-connected Tiger Reserves in the country by train, it has Itarsi, Hoshangabad, Piparia, and Sohagpur railway stations within a distance of 70 km with trains from all parts of the country.

Satpura Jungle Retreat Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival | Activities | Sleep Tight

    On your arrival at the Satpura Jungle Retreat around 12 PM, where you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink.

    Lunch will be in the restaurant post which you will leave for a nature walk.

    After the nature walk, you will be taken to the riverside. Explore the Tawa Backwaters, this activity is a must-try for landscape photographers and bird lovers.

    The day is not over yet, you can enjoy tea & snacks in your room.

    Pamper yourself by submerging your body in a tub full of warm mud, water, and relaxation.

    Get indulge in indoor activities & games.

    Experience the livelihood of the tribals by the village walk.

    When you get tired, enjoy the fun in the bonfire with soothing light music

    Dinner will be served and you have the place to yourself to enjoy.

    Go to sleep, as you need to go for the jungle safari early morning.

  • Day 2 - Safari | Breakfast | Check-out

    Wake up early in the morning and leave for a morning safari right after tea/coffee.

    You will be enjoying a wonderful breakfast in the jungle during your safari.

    Return back and bring the memorable experience to an end.
