Edge Observation Deck:

Edge is New York City’s ultimate sky-high experience, rising 1,131 feet above the ground on the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards. It is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere and provides an extraordinary perspective of Manhattan and beyond. The journey begins as soon as you enter the elevator, where a 52-second multimedia ride transports you toward breathtaking views.

Once outside, you step onto a 7,500-square-foot platform that extends 80 feet into the sky. The deck is surrounded by frameless glass walls angled outward at 6.6 degrees, giving visitors the exhilarating feeling of leaning over the city. From this vantage point, you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view, from Central Park to the Statue of Liberty. For a thrill like no other, the 225-square-foot glass floor allows you to look straight down 100 storeys to the streets below.

Know Before You Go for Edge Observation Deck Tickets

  • Edge is open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with the last entry allowed at 9:10 PM. Please note that hours may vary during certain periods.
  • Edge is located on the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards in the Hudson Yards district of Manhattan.
  • Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult, while children aged 5 and under do not require a ticket but must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
  • The experience is accessible, with elevators and ramps available for guests with mobility needs. Service animals are permitted, and guests requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact Guest Services prior to their visit.
  • Edge offers both indoor and outdoor views. The outdoor sky deck may close during inclement or extreme weather, and Experience Ambassadors are available to provide updates and assistance.
  • Tripods, monopods, and professional camera equipment are not permitted without prior approval.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring outside food or beverages into the attraction.
  • Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited within the premises.
  • Running, climbing on railings, or placing objects on the glass panels is not permitted for safety reasons.
  • Pets are not allowed, with the exception of trained service animals.
  • All guests must follow the instructions of Edge staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
