Desert Tour | Jaisalmer Jodhpur Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Jodhpur | Transfer to Jaisalmer

Upon your arrival in Jodhpur Airport / Railway Station, meet the driver who will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Jaisalmer. Complete the check-in formalities and get picked up by the driver for a sightseeing tour. Begin by visiting the Jaisalmer Fort, the second oldest fort of the state. Next, visit the Nathmal ki Haveli & the Patwon ki Haveli to admire the unique architecture. In the evening, stroll around the Gadisar Lake and the local markets before returning to your hotel.

Transfer in Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios or similar
  • The driver will pick you up from Jodhpur Airport / Railway Station and take you to your pre-booked hotel in Jaisalmer.
  • After check-in, the driver will pick you up and take you for a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer.
  • Post sightseeing, get transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Next, head over to the Patwon ki Haveli, one of the largest havelis of the city having impressive geteways, paintings, arches and balconies.
  • You will then visit the Gadisar Lake that served as the only reservoir for the region, years ago, and soak in its panoramic vistas.

Day 2
Jodhpur to Jaisalmer | Experience Desert Safari in the Thar

Post check-out from your hotel in Jodhpur, the driver will pick you up and take you to your desert camps in Sam. On the way, you can visit Tanot Mata and Longewala War Museum if time permits. Post check-in to your camps, go on a camel safari amidst the golden dunes of Thar. You can also have a thrilling Dune Bashing ride on the lofty dunes. L ater, return to your campsite for a traditional Rajasthani performance followed by a delicious authentic Rajasthani dinner. Overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 3

Check-out from your camp and meet the driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Jodhpur. Complete the check-in formalities and get picked up by the driver for a sightseeing tour of the blue city. First, head to the Mehrangarh Fort which is the largest fort of Rajasthan. Next, you will visit the historical Jaswant Thada, a cenotaph followed by the ancient step well, Toorji Ka Jhalra. End your day at the Ghanta Ghar, an important landmark of the city. Later, return to your hotel.

Transfer in Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios or similar
  • The driver will pick you up from your camps in Sam and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel in Jodhpur.
