It was seriously a crazy-crazy night as there were a lot of things to do & we seriously had a lot of fun, the crowd on the campsite was just awesome and fun-loving. Rain dance, fireworks, DJ, bonfire, camping, what else you need. Thank You Thrillophilia for organizing such amazing camping.

To be honest, while booking this camping I was not sure that the camping experience will be good, but to be honest, it was the best New year party, we had the most amazing time there, The pool party was superb, The DJ was fantastic. The other activities like trekking, sightseeing included in the camping experience were also nice. Thanks Thrillophilia for the super fun New year 2019.

Mullayanagiri Trek, Chikmagalur | Book @ Flat 40% off

 Rated : 5.0

Well best trekking experience ever. Gotta thank Rishabh from Thrillophilia to suggest and keep in contact until the trip had started. I would like to mainly thank Rahul who was the trek lead who helped me trek through those rocks and steps inspite of the injury I had. Also would thank Anmol who had been of help in keeping with the timelines all throughout the trip. To start, it was a good journey when we reached Chikmagalur in a tempo traveller at about 7:00 AM. Place of stay was awesome. We left for trekking to Mulayangiri after breakfast and that was a total 6 kms enjoyable trek up and down through steps, road and rocks. The caves were a delight to watch and take good pics at. Although very hot, there was a cool breeze at the location. Next Jhari falls was the best falls I've seen so far when compared to the famous ones which are overrated. The water was very cold and getting drenched in it was an experience like no other. The camping in tents and campfire was a fun way to spend the night as the organisers (Rahul and Anmol) made it more like a family trip with interactions between each other rather than each one to himself. Next day sunrise at baba budangiri was so beautiful because as and when the Sun rose above the mountain becoming brighter the winds howled and the fog cleared on the other mountains with darkness slowly disappearing. That was worth watching. 2 days and could see and do a lot. If you have'nt tried this trip, you definitely have missed something in life

I went for the trek during mid Dec, which I feel is not the right time for the trek for people who love greenery or cloudy skies or fog. Kudremukh is famous for its grasslands which cannot be seen during this time of the year(monsoon is the right time I guess). weather was bit hot and it was a little tiring during uphill. we came across many water streams on the way. there are mainly 3 stretches (difficult ones) which we need to cross to reach the peak. the view from the peak was awesome. we were given tents for the night stay. the organising team (Zabir, Giresh and David) was so chill and were so motivating and helpful all through the trek.

Valley of Flowers Trekking Package, Uttaranchal 2022

 Rated : 5.0

Thrillophilia Team(The Booking Platform) : *****(5 Stars) The Valley Of Flowers(The Destination) : *****(5 Stars) Trip date: 8th Sep 2018 So I decided to heed "The Mountain Calling" I have had from last year by gifting myself a trek on my birthday. The main obstacle at that moment was where and how do I start zeroing in on a location and planning. With little effort as a word of mouth I came to know about Thrillophilia platform and half of the job was done in no time. It was very easy and convenient to browse through the trekking locations sorted based on different parameters, packages with detailed information, itinerary and user reviews to make up my mind and choose from. Whatever doubts I had Devashish from the Thrillophilia team was very patient and thorough in helping me through my booking. So Thank you Thrillophilia team for providing people seeking adventure a one-stop solution to book. Happy and proud to say: The Valley of Flowers - Been There Done That! Next, my experience was riding on the logistics and the operator took me by surprise as they swiftly eased me through my apprehensions(i had many being my first solo trip in many many years) right from the time they were assigned as the tour operator for my trek. I found them prompt and precise in sending welcome mail and briefing about the trek and the decorum we needed to maintain in mountains, quick and responsive in every query I had regarding the trek and preparation. I liked their approach of keeping shorter groups and making one to one connection with the whole group to be able to cater to everybody's need to the max of their capacity. A personalised call from trek leader is what I don't expect in this digital age having all the information in the mail or some form but since it was about ensuring that we followed every instruction and didn't miss on anything it felt like a special treatment. We were accompanied by Mr. Narendra Baharwan(Trek Leader) and Samiksha Khanduri (Trek Guide) from the team. I found them very professional yet friendly. After a point, it looked like it wasn't their job but their passion and that's what helped to take their services to next level. I was impressed with their regional associations and tie-ups which helped us to get an essence of the Pahadi culture throughout our trip. I found Mr. Narender as cool, calm and composed leader exactly the kind of person who can get us through challenging and panic situations in mountains. And I could almost call our guide Samiksha "The Trekkipedia" and at times I thought she knew too much (maybe I was jealous ;D). The hotel stays were comfy exactly what you need to rest and recharge yourself for another day challenge. Being a fitness freak I'm very particular about food that I eat. And I was surprised with the food we were served and especially the quality. It was very close to what I eat at home. Also, I would like to use the opportunity to thank the team for a kind and surprise gesture on my birthday improvising on the cake and a flaunting gift. One of the highlights of the trip was responsible and eco-tourism. It felt good to do our bit in maintaining the ecology of mountains. It was equally inspiring to see our host's and Pahadi people's conscious effort to preserve and conserve the nature. And not to forget mentioning meeting some very like-minded and dynamic people in the group was a life fulfilling experience and icing on the cake. And by the end of the tour, everybody appeared almost like long lost friends and it became a party for us. Trek Leader: Mr Narendra Baharwan Trek Guide: Samiksha Khanduri Pilot for the Rides: Mr. Mukesh Auli Lodge Manager: Mr. Bhuvan Ghangaria Home(accommodation) and Food minister: Mr. Shamsher Thank you operator team for your exceptional services!! :) The Valley of Flowers Trek: Being a nature lover I always feel attracted towards nature's wonders. And while browsing on Thrillophilia it didn't take me too long to select the destination as it mentions a blanket of flowers covering a valley in a few km stretches. What a sight would that be was my question to which I had to find an answer. Although there's a peak season catch to be able to see full blossom. Since I visited the valley almost end of the season I saw fewer flowers but I wouldn't say I was disappointed as the mountains standing tall and the waterfalls were mesmerising enough and we could enjoy them totally to ourself as the valley was less crowded at this time. So that's a tradeoff which a person has to decide from but it worked well for me. Sitting beside a waterfall in the lap of nature and drinking mineral right from the source was like unfolding nature's secret. So I do list the location as must visit for whoever seeking nature's blessing and adventure and it's both challenging and soul soothing.

Roopkund Trekking 2022, Uttarakhand | Save Upto 10%

 Rated : 5.0

Roopkunda, one of the most mysterious and surprising trek each and everyday a different surprise waiting for you on next turn. I have done this trek on May 2017. That trek contains everything from nature forest, meadows, snow, rain and hailstorm too. Trek begins from the day you land on Kathgodam. Its a 10 hrs long and beautiful journey passing via beautiful hill stations of Uttrakhand. Once you cover that part you reach WAN/Lohanjung, a small peaceful village where you will forget all your tiredness of 10 hrs long journey. You will meet your guide here and from next day the real adventure begins. Day 1: WAN - Ran bugad - Didina 4-5 hrs trekking - easy trek with gradual uphill and downhill through dense mountain forest. Campsite at Didina is amazing. We reach there by mid 2 PM and then enjoyed rest of the day here. Day 2: Didina - Ali bugyal - Bedini Begyal, 4-6 hrs, moderate day, very steep ascent in some part, most of the part is via dense forest, you need lots of stamina and water in first half, in later part you will trek on asia's largest green meadow with amazing view of snow capped mountains. When we reach Bedini it starts raining very hard for 2-3 hrs. It was thrilling as temperature is freezing during rain, 10C Day 3: Bedini - patharnachuni - easiest day. Trekking on almost a flat track and downhill. I enjoyed a lot on that day, singing, photography, everything we did during this part. No difficulties at all apart from height gain. So you need to be relax. It took 4 hrs to complete. Day 4: Patharnachuni - Kalu vinayak -Bhaguwabasa, One of the tough day. Trekking on Mud and snow at a very low temperature. Here we got really tested with our stamina and fear of height. Till Kalu vinayak its a difficult part as it was on mud and snow mixed slippery narrow and rough trek (steep climb) On kalu vinayak we felt relax and enjoyed Ganesha's arti. After kalu vinayak, till campsite trekking was on fresh snow, comparatively easy (descent only) but trek was narrow so you need to be very careful while stepping. When we reach baguwabasa it starts raining or I can say hailstorm which lasts for 3 hours. Out campsite got completely covered in snow. I haven't seen that much snow in my life. Once hailstorm stops, we came out from tents and started playing on snow, you will fall in love with this campsite. However you will feel headache here, fortunately we didn't face this for a long time. Only precaution drink as much water as you can and cover your self with woolen temp is 0C and below here. Day 5: Bhaguwabasa - Roopkunda- Bhaguwabasa - Patharnachuni - Bedini Summit day, for which we were awaiting for a long time, a very long day almost 10 hrs of trekking. Started very early at 4 AM on that day our guide provided us crampon to wear on shoes as it was slippery and soft snow on trek. Crampon helped us a lot, without that it was almost impossible to trek from bhaguwabasa to ropkunda it took 3 hrs most difficult part of trek as it was on narrowest edge of mountain covered with snow, very sharm turn where you have to be very very careful, without guide it is pretty difficult on some turns I thought to moving back but our guide motivate us and finally we were able to complete. I was speechless when I saw roop kunda, lost in its beauty and peace for 10 mins and was senseless, I wasn't that much excited and emotional when India won world cup, finally all the efforts were paid a beautiful result. we enjoyed there for 30 mins and then started back to reach Bedin. We covered maximum distance and reach Bedini in late afternoon at Bedini we were welcome with a massive hailstorm which turn the entire green meadow in white layer it starts raining from patharnachuni, raincoat is must here. Day 6: Final day: Bedini - Neel ganga - Wan - steep descent via forest and then 2 km gradual ascent - easy day, lots of walking, enjoyed a lot during forest pass you can hear birds singing. Once you finish downhill part you will reach Neel ganga river, we had a break and rest in neel ganga river water. Freezing cold but relaxing. After that gradual climb for 2 km and then 1 km downhill to reach WAN. Best part of entire trek: Quick weather changes and maggie at every point. Must carry: raincoat, woolen and drink lots of water About me: I am 31 year old guy with normal physique, not a regular gym guy with normal stamina, but I must say that you should practice lots of walking and running before hitting this trek, it was my first trek and I enjoyed this a lot.

It was an impulsive decision which turned out to be an exhilarating experience. I was planning to go on a trek from long back but could not get a chance. But with Thrillophillia, it was made into reality. I was a part of the trekking group which visited Kodachadri on 20/12/2019 which turned out to be an adventure-seeking, goofy and most loving bunch of people. Our Trek lead (Habeeb) his energy was contagious. He guided us with the same energy at the start till end. He knows the route pretty well that I was effortless in following him. Everyone in the group is friendly. As I am travelling alone, I never felt lost or ignored. The itinerary and the stay are awesome. The food which was provided is satiable and filling. The transport has been changed in the last minute, but that was also great. I boarded the bus at 11:00 PM on Friday at Goruguntepalya, reached Halli Mane HomeStay by 8:00 AM on Saturday, from there we started our trek by 9:30 AM and reached Hidlumane waterfalls by 11:30 AM spent some time there and continued our journey till 2:30 PM by which we reached Devasa there we had our lunch and continued the ascend we reached Kodachadri peak by 5:30 PM and enjoyed the beautiful sunset the return was in Jeep which was a roller-coaster kind of experience and "I loved it". We reached homestay by 8:30 PM and had good dinner and spend some time near the campfire. On the next day, we started our return journey by 9:30 AM in between we visited Nagara Fort ruins. Overall it was a great hasslefree experience and a big Thumbs up to #Thrillophilia Until next time, Happy Travelling :-)
