Night Trek at Kabbalah Durga

 Rated : 3.0

It was a completely new experience for me to trek at night and too at such high altitude. In the beginning i was very scared to start my adventure but my friends gave me support and i was able to complete this trekking successfully. Actually after completing the trekking i felt more confident. We had set up our tents on sharing basis, we taak rest for about three hours only because after that we had to return back.

Kayaking at Baina Beach, Goa

Only a single family hotel is there at the Baina, Beach, Goa where people can stay safely with their family. The Hotel is quite a decent one. The convenience and the facilities that one can get at the costly resorts is not that much available here but is much more pocket friendly. Anyway who wants a lavish room, we went there just to enjoy the place’s scenic beauty.

Our journey started when we arrived at Dehradun and from there we were picked to our nearest point Sankari, and then to the juda-ka-talab and there we had set up our first camp. It took around four hours to reach to our first point, and it was a nice journey for us. We got some time to relax in the evening. Next day after having breakfst we headed towards our next destination.

Night Trek at Kabbalah Durga

 Rated : 3.0

Kabbaladurga night trek was my first ever trekking expedition at night that gives an opportunity to discover the beauty of mountains in moonlight. Started at night at around 9.00 PM and soon the journey completed within 3 hours. It is better to maintain the speed while trekking, since at late night temperature gets low making it uncomfortable to trek further.

Next time i hope to see some bigger food stalls and shops in the base point, since last time i had this problem. Apart from that i loved the place, the night trekking was completely unique experience for me. Tried capturing some photos but i missed the beautiful ones. I recommend everyone to carry good shoes and other preventive measures in advance so that you can complete the expedition easily.

Water sport is another attraction of that place but it must be done under the super vision of the people who are present there and abide by the instructions that given by the expert instructor. One must not even try to do it alone scenes it is a risky one.

Journey to Baina Beach is a tiring one from the Goa Railway station or even from the airport. The road is not so much well-constructed yet and the long 43 KM journey is a really a tiring one. But anyway the scenic beauty of the place when you reach there will cheer you up again.

Pros: The trek was well organized. The climate was neither humid nor too freezing. It was perfect. The trek trails were tough to trek yet not very dangerous. The whole experience was interesting. The organization of the trek plan was brilliant. We in short, has a really great trek. Cons: The food was pathetic and not that great. If the food options improved, we would have had a really better trek.

It was interestig to trek and discover the Markha Valley of Ladakh. The Kang Yatse point is also beautiful point which is very near to Dzo Jongo. The dark side of the trek for me was that it was a very long trek but the best part is its so beautiful place to discover. Dont forget to carry your camera.

We were hoping to feel tired and worn out but surprisingly despite the tough trek it was nice and enjoyable and we were with high energy levels even after the trek. This was definitely a nice trekking experience. We had some great memories to take back home and share. I really loved the whole travel too as it was a road trip for us.

It is not every day you enter a beautiful city and experience an interesting trek. This trek is definitely one of the best treks that anyone can take. If you are visiting Sikkim, do not miss this. This is just worth every penny spent. The only drawback was that the food here is not that great to my taste buds and apart from that the staying was not that cozy.
