Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

Check in for the tour at 14:00 hours at ACI Split Marina.

The first day will be spent getting you comfortable with sailing as you head across the Adriatic out into the opening day regatta.

You’ll head straight for the island of Brac, where you can enjoy an evening swim in a secluded natural bay.

  • Day 2 -

You will sail down the coastline to the breathtaking town of Makarska, enjoying some beautiful swim stops along the way.

Makarska nestles under the massive peaks of the Biokovo mountain range with Mt Jure (the highest seaside peak) in the Mediterranean.

For nightlife options, there is the cocktail bar Marineta and for late night takers there is the infamous club "Deep" a natural cave next to the sea which rocks into the wee hours.

Tonight you join the Sail Croatia cruises for the infamous ‘Pirate Party’ in the cave!

  • Day 3 -

Sail to one of Croatia’s largest islands Hvar, where you will make your way to the small town of Jelsa in the middle of the island.

Surrounded by two of the largest mountains on the island, St Nikola and East Hum, this sets the perfect backdrop for a picturesque Croatian experience.

Here you have the option to visit the UNESCO protected world heritage site of Stari Grad where you can visit a local farm and winery and experience Croatian wine at its best!

  • Day 4 -

Set sail around the other side of Hvar island today to the town of Hvar, where you will stay in the small area of Palmizana.

Catch a water taxi to Hvar town to experience the ‘French Riviera’ of Croatia, home of super yachts, DJ’s and epic beach parties.

Climb the hill to explore the 7th century fort ruins overlooking the harbour, before enjoying sunset cocktails at Hula Hula Bar.

After dinner mingle with Sail Croatia guests at Nautica Bar or party into the early morning at the famous Carpe Diem.

  • Day 5 -

Set sail for the majestic island of Vis where you will head to the abandoned submarine tunnel which is connected to a subsurface tunnel system and was used for soldiers to live and work in WWII.

Continue to Vis Town where you can explore and embrace the laid back culture of the island.

Then head for a party in the fortress later that night!

  • Day 6 -

Early in the morning, experience Vis’ Blue Caves*, an island cave system accessible only by boat.

The blue turquoise water and refracted light into the cave make for exciting and amazing photo opportunities.

Then make your way to the island of Solta and dock in the bay of Sesula for the night.

  • Day 7 -

Enjoy your last day sailing as you make our way back to Split, the UNESCO protected World Heritage city with an abundance of Roman architecture and the spectacular Diocletian's Palace.

Head out and enjoy the nightlife of Split with your new friends for your final night.

  • Day 8 -

    Depart from Split at 8:30am.

    End of trip.

    People Also Ask

    1. What are the yachts like?

The best way to imagine our yachts is like a cosy campervan on the water: Four cabins sleeping eight passengers, two bathrooms with a shower, one common room with kitchen supplies and a whole deck above you to relax under the sun. Our prices are based on twin share cabins. The yachts contain double and twin cabins. Each of those cabins will have either two single beds pushed side-by-side and bunk beds. We will always put friends who book together in the same cabin, but if you'd like your own space private upgrades are available for £57 per person, per night. You'll be spending much of your time above deck, which has a rubber dinghy for reaching the shore from a buoy and plenty of room to lay out and enjoy the sun. => All of our yachts are built in the last decade. If you'd like the newest and best yachts available, we offer brand-new sailing vessels built within the last year to deliver top-of-the-line comfort. Premium Yachts upgrades are available at an extra £69 per person.

    2. Can I know more about the Optional Excursions?

All of the excursions offered on this itinerary are informative only and are for your planning benefit. These are booked and paid for locally if you wish to participate. There is no obligation to participate as they are purely optional. They are offered by local companies and do not form part of your booking with us. Prices are in Croatian Kunas and are approximates, they are subject to change without prior notice. Some minimum numbers also apply.

    3. What are the sleeping arrangements?

Our yachts feature mostly double with some twin cabins. Double cabins feature two single matresses side-by-side. We reserve our twin cabins for solo travellers, while groups of friends sleep in double cabins. Some of our guests take the opportunity to sleep under the stars, falling asleep to the cool breeze from the Adriatic.

    4. Will I actually get to sail?

Yes! This is one of our favourite things about this adventure – your skipper will be sailing as much as possible. From time to time the skipper may even ask you to help out – sailing fourteen metres of yacht by yourself isn’t easy – but for the most part you’ll enjoy the sound of the wind in the sails as you lay on the ship’s deck during the day. Of course, we don’t have control over the wind, so on days when the weather conditions aren't ripe for sailing, we’ll use our motor to make our way down the coast.

    5. What will we do for meals?

Each yacht is equipped with a kitchenette including gas stove, oven and kettle. We'll start the week by bringing you and your yacht-mates to a nearby grocery store. This way you can pick out exactly the food you'll prefer for meals at sea. In the evenings you'll have a wide variety of restaurant options. Croatia has delicious, locally-grown food, and your skippers and tour managers will be happy to recommend the perfect restaurant for your group.

    6. What money should I bring?

Even though Croatia joined the European Union in July 2013, their currency is still the kuna. The best way to get kunas is to withdraw directly from an ATM (available throughout the country including in Split and Dubrovnik Airports).

    7. Do I need a visa?

Yes, a Visa is required for Indian citizens. Visas are not required by citizens of the EU, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, USA or Canada.

    8. Will I get any free time?

Absolutely! When we arrive to our destination each afternoon, you’re free to explore the shore. Our knowledgeable staff will be able bring you to the best places to eat, drink or shop – but what you do with your evenings is up to you. If you’re looking for a party, we’re happy to oblige. At the start of your week you’ll get a wristband that will entitle you to exclusive offers like free entry to nightclubs, drink specials and discounts at restaurants throughout the coast.
