Day 1 of the Chennai to Rameshwaram package, you will be welcomed by our representative who will then take you on a temple tour in Madurai. You will first visit the Meenakshi Annam temple - this Dravidian style temple sits on the banks of river Vaigai, and is dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi who is a form of Parvati. Day 3, of the Chennai to Rameshwaram tour will be the end of a memorable holiday. You will depart from Rameshwaram to get to the airport or railway station in Madurai for your journey onwards.

Our tour guide did a very good job and we had a great day. He took a lot of good pictures of usl and also told us a lot about the history. After the tour he took us to a great local restaurant and some nice stores. He also speaks very good English! I would highly recommend!!!
