After a long year this is what you can expect from your holiday. It turned out outstanding. The caves, trekking and the bon fire with the residents in the hotel cannot be forgotten easily. Hoping to go back soon but this time as a couple.

Wayanad, is located in the tip of the Deccan plateau is one most visited tourist hot-spot. We visited the spot with our group, its an ideal getaway destination. Eddakal caves are amazing, the large rocks are so slanting that sometimes I got scared to come under it. But Guys, at night the view is unbellievable really, the stars are all around us looks adorable. We stayed in our own camps so we enjoyed a lot there. No shops or stalls are available so that is quite bad for that location but the arrangements made by our organzers was too good.

The bon fire experience was too good. Long trek to reach the caves was overwhelming. The stone age carvings were fascinating.Relived so many memories of my childhood with my parents had a great time with them. Though the trek part was tiring and difficult for them, but they enjoyed the views and the weather. It was a nice and refreshing experience for all of us.

After a good research I chose the place for a visit. The trek was awesome and properly guided. Experiencing a visit in a stone age old cave was mind blowing. And the final touch with the bon fire at the end of the day charges you well for the rest of the year. Its well planned and organized activity, that can be tried out with your group.

The various facilities in the hotel were good, but it can better. A Warm place for families to visit with kids. My kids really enjoyed the cave exploration part, they were amazed to see the old prehistoric cave paintings.Had fun time with family, playing games and antakshri over bon-fire.

Good experience for those who travel seldom. But for an addict like me the place is like toddy against champagne. Trek was easy and no thrill other than the thousand years old carvings.Decent stay and food.Overall it was a good experience for the amount i spent on this package.

Romantic place amongst the green hills. Reaching the height slowly by trekking amongst the green flora was fascinating. The room was average but cheap too, overall it was a decent experience for me. Good for a group of friends but not for families.

The place has a historical value. It depicts the advancements of the stone age people thousands of ears ago. Apart from this the scenic beauty was mesmerizing. Trekking by the side of the hills through the foliage was an outstanding experience.

If you are hungry to visit historical places and also want adventure then Eddakal caves is the best choice. The trekking distance is 2 km on average. Very intersting. The caves have stone age artifacts that will etch a good memory in your mind. The bon fire experience was out of the world. The hotel we booked was nice enough for bachelors like us. Over all experience was good enough to motivate us for another visit.

Bad decision for families having kids. Very crowded too. We thought of spending quality time with the family but the long trek made us tired and weared out. The bon fire was quite good and the kids enjoyed that particularly.View is great but plan your trip well before to avoid chaos.Overall it was a decent experience.

Tough ascending trekking for a long distance might take you with a surprise. If you are that energetic then Edakkal is good for you. The stay was good but can be better if the hotel service was up to the mark.

If you are looking for a trek then the place is ok for you otherwise visiting with families and kids is not a smart decision. The trekking will take a toll on the old and young ones.
