About the Trip

Millions of the people around the world have learned to scuba dive and have gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through PADI/ SSI Open Water Diver Course. This course will teach you the fundamentals of diving through a perfect mixture of theory, sessions of confined water and four open water dives in the tropical Andaman waters.
 
This certification from PADI/SSI at Aqua Nomad Dive Center at Havelock will allow you to be a Certified Diver who can plan and dive independently of a dive professional up to a depth of 18 meters anywhere in the world.
 
The all-in-one package not only makes you a certified diver but also offers other activities and opportunity to explore and discover the hidden treasures of Havelock including cycling/kayaking and a visit to stunning beaches of Kala Patthar & Radha Nagar.
 
In case you are an Open Water Diver, you can take up Advanced Open Water Course.

The two variants of this course will be either inclusive of certain provisions or exclusive. If you choose the all-inclusive package, you will be getting the following provisions:
  • Lodging in Havelock, 5 nights, standard non AC. Taxi in Port Blair for Airport pick up and drop, Cellular Jail visit.
  • Taxi in Havelock for Jetty pick up and drop, Kala Patthar and Radha Nagar Beach visit.
  • Your scuba diver will provide you with all the basic scuba gear you will use including mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, dive gauges, and a tank on a refundable basis.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival and Introduction

    After your arrvial at the Port Blair airport, you will be picked up by our represntative

    First stop today is the Celluar Jail

    You will then have to take a ferry to Havelock Island, where you will meet your instructors

    The instructors will give you videos and reading material to get you familiarised with Scuba Diving

  • Day 2 - Classroom + Cycle Trekking/ Kayaking

    In the morning, enjoy a light breakfast before leaving for Aqua Nomad Dive Centre.

    You will spend the first part of your day in the classroom learning the theory of diving with a mix of video, self study and instructor’s briefings.

    You may then spend the rest of your day enjoying cycle trekking or kayaking. Havelock Island has the best beach roads and jungles for a refreshing and adrenaline-inducing cycle trekking sesh.

  • Day 3 - Confined training | Visting Kala Pathar Beach

    After breakfast this morning, you will be taking on the Confined Water training, where you must ensure you learn all that's necessary

    You can then take the rest of your day to stroll on the Kala Patthar Beach

  • Day 4 - Dive 1 and 2 | Radha Nagar Beach

    This is the awaited day as you will be taking your first dive in the deep sea, on dive 1 and 2

    Post this, you can visit the Radha Nagar Beach, one of the best beaches of Asia

  • Day 5 - Dive 3 and 4 | Beach Volleyball

    Continuing the last day's success, you will be taking onto the Dives 3 and 4, to finally acquire your certification.

    You can now dive anywhere in the world to the depth of 18m without a professional diver to accompany you.

    You can then use your leisure time to play beach volleyball or darts

  • Day 6 - Return

    This morning, you will take a ferry to Port Blair and catch your flight back home.

  • Only those clients shall be certified who will meet the PADI requirements. Basic swimming capabilities, moderate fitness levels (ability to walk a kilometer or two without fatigue) and good health are the only pre-requisites for completing the dive course.
