Located in the heart of a beautiful and non-touristic village, the stay is 70-year-old merchant’s mud house painstakingly and beautifully restored with all modern amenities. This mud homestay was renovated in traditional style with traditional materials by village artisans and comes with 4 well-appointed rustic rooms that have comfortable bathrooms, terraces, a garden, wifi, tea/coffee maker, etc. Another important thing about this stay is it's highly praised restaurant and modern art gallery which is right down the street about 50 meters and offers delicious fusion cuisine for the guests. Guests can also spend some family/friends time in the beautiful seating area on the lawn.
Set right in the middle of the village, this place makes for an excellent base for the activities for outdoor enthusiasts. There are excellent walks around and beyond the village. Guests can take a hike to the Gunehar river pool outside the village just 10 min away and bask in the sun while enjoying swimming and a prepared picnic at the riverside. Guests can also go for a short forest hike to the viewpoints and enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas. There is this famous Art Gallery named the 4tables cafe, where guests can take a tour of all modern arts and learn more about the culture. Being near to Bir-Billing, guests can go for paragliding or for visiting local Buddhist and Hindu temples. Or, apart from all the activities guests can simply spend a laid back day on the terrace watching villagers walk by and enjoying the view.
