VAMANA TEMPLE

An ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vamana, another form of Lord Vishnu, Vamana Temple walls are adorned with 2000 carvings and figures of gods and their consorts. Housing a beautiful mandap along with an entrance porch, sanctum and vestibule, the temple brings the bygone cultures to life and is one of the most appealing tourist places in Khajuraho.

Timings: The temple is open from 05:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and from 04:00 PM to 09:00 PM every day.
