About Trongsa DzongNot many would be familiar with Dzong fortress until they see the Tongsa Dzong before their own eyes. It is the largest fortress in the country of Bhutan and holds a huge historical significance. It has been renovated many a times since it was built due to natural disasters as well as general maintenance.

The place is also a major monastic complex with over 200 monks with whom you can interact. You can also visit the Ta Dzong which is a watch tower and was initially built with the purpose of watching enemies.
