BALMORAL CASTLE

Balmoral castle with its rustic structure, lush landscapes and scenery is one of the most romantic places to go in Aberdeen city. This is actually a large estate house in Aberdeenshire owned by Queen Elizabeth II as one of the main residences of the British royal family and is a great example of Scottish baronial architecture. The Balmoral estate was primarily a country house and is a seven story tower that borrows its features from the medieval defensive tower houses.

The Balmoral castle is owned by Queen Elizabeth II and is their holiday home during most times of the year. The castle is open to the general public from the months of April to July however group visits or arranged to outdoors when the royal family is not visiting. A beautiful holiday home is a tower built in typical Scottish baronial style and has many of its prime features like Cross stepped gable and dormer windows. The rustic castle is a very romantic spot because of its beautiful Woodland trails and cynic gardens that surround the structure.
