Elephants and Hill Country: Settling Into Kandy

The family's introduction to Sri Lanka began the moment they landed, with a private transfer taking them straight to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on their way to Kandy. The second half of the trip shifted the family toward the coast, beginning with Mirissa, where Parrot Rock and Coconut Tree Hill offered some of the most photographed views of the whole holiday. From there, Bentota brought a mix of experiences built for all three of them: the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery for Aariz, a Cinnamon Plantation walk for Sailaja, and an unconventional fish pedicure that the whole family could try together.

The trip closed in Colombo, where a city tour through Fort, Pettah, the Lotus Tower and Galle Face Green gave the family a last full day of sightseeing before their flight home, with the return transfer to the airport already arranged.
