Renegarao was tired of the same old routine of everyday life. He wanted an international escape to a beachy destination where he could actually feel the sun on skin and liveliness all around him. Somewhere he could take his family and forget about his hustle in the city for a few days entirely.
That very escape came in the form of Vishal, their initial PoC from when Renegarao first contacted Thrillophilia, who recommended Seychelles as the destination that fits his dream vacation perfectly. Although enticing, Renegarao couldn’t ignore the factor of money. He knew Seychelles was a premium destination, and the entire trip cost for a total of 4 people seemed a lot to bear.
But that was until Vishal connected them to Kamini, who would soon become their destination expert. Kamini provided them with an extensive array of budget tiers, each curated for accessibility but none of them compromising on their experience. She explained the entire financial breakdown of the trip, what each tier specifically meant for each traveller, and how it would fit into their budget.
After comparing their prices with other websites, Renegarao didn’t hesitate any further to book the trip, because he knew deals like these don’t stay long, and he wasn’t one to lose out on a good one.
Discovering the Colours Beneath the Indian Ocean

Their private vehicle wasted no time in taking them to their beachfront resort in Mahe right after landing; Renegarao was grateful for it. The flight had left him exhausted, and the pictures of the resort the family had seen so far had them way too hyped up already.
It didn't take much longer to reach Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino from the airport, just as he expected. Their rooms, the amenities, everything was exactly as the pictures. But what they didn’t realise beforehand was how striking the sea-side views from their rooms would be. The evening sun melting into the sea’s horizon while being surrounded by lush green hills was a vision to behold and a perfect start to what Renegarao now knew was going to be a successful holiday.
After a leisure evening and an early night to get rid of their travel fatigue, day two started their actual journey into immersing themselves into all the water and beach activities Seychelles had to offer.
Boarding a glass-bottom boat, the family watched colourful coral reefs and marine life drift beneath their feet before stopping at Moyenne Island. It’s part of the protected Sainte Anne Marine National Park and one of the best places for water sports with multiple experience tiers.
Snorkelling in the clear waters, feeding tropical fish, and enjoying a leisurely barbecue lunch turned the excursion into much more than a sightseeing trip. It was one of those rare travel days where every activity flowed naturally into the next, giving the family ample time to enjoy the islands without ever feeling hurried.
A Slower Rhythm on Praslin
If Mahe was the beach-focused trip highlight, Praslin was the nature-focused one. The scattered granite islands had vibrant greenery and an uninterrupted expanse of turquoise Indian Ocean. Praslin welcomed them with a pace that demanded relaxation.
Renegarao had made it clear during the planning stage itself how he wanted the trip to be relaxing rather than activity-heavy. Keeping that and the fact that Mahe was filled with activities, the team made it a point to focus entirely on the relaxation part for the rest of the trip.
With the day and its pace in their control, the family spent the day however they wanted, each engrossed in their own fascinations while enjoying each other’s company. Some time by the beach, a quiet swim, or simply making the most of the resort's non-motorised activities was enough to appreciate why Praslin is often described as the laid-back heart of Seychelles.
Cycling Through the Charm of La Digue

Rather than following a guide from one place to another, the family explored La Digue at their own pace, and that turned out to be one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip. They picked up their bicycles after following a short ferry ride in Praslin and set off across an island where cycling is the most common way of transfer.
The quiet roads, tropical greenery, absence of hurried traffic, and the family’s laughter and stories made every turn feel rewarding. They didn’t worry about getting lost or the older members’ age because the team was already monitoring their route and the family was provided with an emergency contacts list well before their departure from India. They rest assured knowing they are taken care of and their destinations and accommodations sorted.
That last day, before returning to their hotel, they had covered La Passe, the island’s centre; Veuve Reserve; and L'Union Estate with its plantation heritage. The day naturally culminated at Anse Source d'Argent, where striking granite boulders, powder-soft sand, and crystal-clear water created one of the most photographed beaches in the world
Renegarao’s Trip Experience and Thrillophilia’s Team
Renegarao’s Seychelles trip review on Thrillophilia’s platform was only of four words.
“Excellent experience.... Excellent tour programme”
When a trip’s flow is genuinely smooth and a traveller doesn’t feel a single hiccup or hassling logistic, that’s when the reviews start to get gradually shorter. Because there was nothing to criticise, because everything was taken care of before the traveller could get a chance to worry about it.
The team, headed by Kamini and Vishal, coordinated each aspect from support to execution so that the family could get a relaxing holiday that had been long overdue for them. And that’s exactly what they received.
