“Tour guide for city tour was nice… we enjoyed our day… they guided us very well… and all other bookings were also good”

Tejaswini’s Dubai review on Thrillophilia's platform was short, yet it perfectly encapsulated everything the team relentlessly worked to bring together on the trip. Amiable yet knowledgeable guides, enjoyable stays, and all the bookings were good and perfectly executed without a hint of the hassling trip logistics falling on Tejaswini or her family’s shoulders. This is exactly what she wanted and exactly what she got with the help of her destination expert, Aditya.

Even before booking the trip, she was aware that choosing to do a family trip to an international destination like Dubai for only three days came with some risks. Rushed coverage, unsatisfied preferences of the family, and transfer miscommunications could’ve easily upturned the trip. But once she was briefed about how exactly their trip was going to look like, with each inclusion laid out clearly in front of her, Tejaswini realised she could trust the team.

And that was all she held on to until she landed in Dubai with her family.

A Welcome with Details that Showed Care

Soon after landing in Dubai, Tejaswini and her family were immediately greeted by their chauffeur, who drove them to their hotel. On the way, their driver comprehensively briefed the family on the local etiquette, nearby markets, transfer hubs, medical centres, and what the rest of their day awaited them.

The very first thing Tejaswini noticed after reaching the hotel was how accessible the markets and transfer options were from their location. The driver had also provided them with a map and a phone number, which acted as a huge anchor of relief for Tejaswini, given that she was travelling with a group of people of varying age groups and needs.

After being greeted by the hotel staff, a call from the team ensuring their safe arrival, and a quick break to brush off some of the travel fatigue, the Mhatre family was ready for the day’s sightseeing.

Dubai’s Skyline and the Trip’s Commencement

A tiny traveler discovered Dubai Marina

The Mhatre family began their three-day Dubai getaway by visiting one of the city’s most distinctive landmarks, the Dubai Frame. Standing 150 metres tall, the architectural marvel offered them a unique perspective of Dubai, with views of historic neighbourhoods on one side and the city’s futuristic skyline on the other. The view felt even sweeter because no one in the family had to wait in the long queue for tickets, as the team had already booked them way in advance for them to enjoy.

Their day concluded with one site since the team didn’t want them to feel rushed on their very first day of arrival, while they were already considerably tired from the journey. But this one visit embedded the spirit of Dubai in them, making them excited for everything that was to follow from the next day.

From Historic Dubai to a Celebration of World Cultures

Tejaswini embraced Dubai's peaceful shores

Tejaswini and her family spent their second day discovering two completely different sides of Dubai. The morning city tour introduced them to the city’s historic heart, beginning with the lively districts of Deira and Bur Dubai, where Dubai’s trading legacy still thrived. The contrast between old neighbourhoods, modern roads, and the city's ever-growing skyline made the sightseeing tour both informative and visually engaging.

Later in the day, the family visited Global Village, a seasonal attraction that brings together cultures from more than 90 countries in one destination. After a smooth entry due to pre-booked tickets, they wandered through the country-themed pavilions; they browsed handcrafted souvenirs, traditional clothing, artisanal products, and speciality items that reflected the heritage of different nations.

Throughout the evening, live performances, cultural dances, music shows, street entertainment, and carnival rides created a festive atmosphere that appealed to visitors of all ages. For Tejaswini and her family, it became one of the most enriching experiences of the trip, combining sightseeing, shopping, food, and cultural discovery in a way that few attractions can.

What stuck out to Tejaswini from the whole day was their tour guide. He had been with them throughout the day, detailing each site’s cultural and historical significance while letting them take their time through it all, never rushing them while they were soaking in Dubai’s rhythm.

This is primarily why the team specifically chose the guide for the family. A 3-day trip, with the wrong guide, can feel dissatisfying and rushed amidst covering multiple destinations on a timely basis. But Tejaswini’s guide was the very reason she felt moved by Dubai, the reason she never felt her experience to be lacking despite being short on time.

A Colourful Farewell at the Miracle garden and Thrillohpilia's Contribution

Tejaswini and her family concluded their Dubai holiday with a visit to the spectacular Dubai Miracle Garden, a destination that showcased an entirely different side of the city. Every section of the garden offered a new visual surprise, making it a favourite spot for family photographs and leisurely walks. The beautifully maintained seasonal displays, creative floral artistry, and peaceful atmosphere provided a refreshing contrast to Dubai's urban skyline.

As they boarded their flight back home, Tejaswini remained amazed at how seamlessly Thrillophilia conducted the entire trip. The team’s consistent check-ins and briefings, the list of emergency contacts they’d provided her with before the trip began, and the pre-booked arrangements so that they didn’t lose time on their already short trip. Every detail felt crafted with care and genuine expertise.

This Dubai trip was something in planning for a long time for the Mhatre family, and Tejaswini was grateful for how it never felt lacking.
