There is a certain excitement in arriving somewhere new together.
For Sunil and Ashwini, that feeling began the moment they landed in Bali. They had seven days ahead of them and wanted to experience the island beyond its beaches. They wanted to see its rice terraces, temples and waterfalls, spend time by the sea, try something adventurous and still have enough space to enjoy the journey without constantly thinking about what came next.
Their trip began in Ubud.
Finding a Slower Side of Bali

After arriving at the airport, Sunil and Ashwini travelled towards Ubud.
The busy roads slowly gave way to greenery, villages and quieter surroundings. Their stay had a private pool overlooking the valley, giving them the kind of peaceful beginning they had hoped for.
The next morning brought their first real introduction to Bali.
They travelled towards Kintamani, where the landscape opened up to views of mountains and volcanic scenery. From there, the day took them through a coffee plantation, Tegenungan Waterfall and the famous rice terraces of Tegalalang.
There was no need to rush from one place to another.
They could stop, look around and enjoy being somewhere completely different from home.
The Jungle Swing added a little fun to the day. Between the photographs, the views and the shared laughter, it became one of those experiences they would remember long after returning home.
A Journey Filled With Temples and Sunsets
The next part of the journey took them away from Ubud.
Along the way, Sunil and Ashwini stopped at Handara Gate and visited the beautiful Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. By evening, they reached Tanah Lot. The temple stood against the sea as the sky began to change colour.
After two days of waterfalls, mountains and rice terraces, sitting by the coast and watching the sunset offered a completely different feeling.
That variety became one of the best parts of their Bali trip.
Every day seemed to reveal another side of the island.
Adding Some Adventure to the Holiday
Sunil and Ashwini were not looking for a holiday where they simply moved between hotels and sightseeing spots.
They wanted experiences they could enjoy together.
At Tanjung Benoa Beach, they tried parasailing, jet skiing and a banana boat ride.
Later, the journey continued towards Pandawa Beach and Uluwatu Temple.
The day was filled with energy, but it never felt like they were repeating the same kind of experience.
One moment they were out on the water, and a few hours later, they were standing high above the ocean at one of Bali’s most famous temples.
A Day Across the Sea

No Bali trip feels quite complete without seeing the island landscapes of Nusa Penida.
Sunil and Ashwini travelled across the water and spent the day exploring some of its best-known places.
Kelingking Beach, Angel’s Billabong and Broken Bay brought them face to face with the dramatic cliffs and clear waters they had seen in photographs before the trip.
But being there felt different.
It was one of the longer days of their holiday, but also one of the most memorable.
They even got the chance to try snorkelling before returning to Bali.
By this point, their journey had already taken them from peaceful valleys and waterfalls to temples, beaches and islands.
There was still one adventure left.
One Last Adventure Together
Their final full day in Bali was spent riding an ATV.
After days of sightseeing and exploring, the experience gave Sunil and Ashwini the chance to simply have fun.
The ride took them through Bali’s outdoor landscapes and ended with a local lunch.
It was messy, exciting and completely different from how their journey had started.
A week earlier, they had arrived looking forward to discovering Bali.
Now they were preparing to return home with stories from mountain roads, waterfalls, temples, beaches, island crossings and adventures they had experienced together.
Why Thrillophilia?
Planning a trip like Sunil and Ashwini’s involves more than choosing a destination.
There are hotels to select, places to visit, experiences to book and travel between different parts of the island to manage. When all of this is planned separately, it can take away from the time travellers actually have to enjoy their holiday.
Thrillophilia helped bring the different parts of Sunil and Ashwini’s Bali journey together.
Their trip was planned around what they wanted to experience as a couple. They began with a peaceful stay in Ubud, explored Bali’s natural and cultural side, enjoyed water sports, travelled to Nusa Penida and ended their holiday with an ATV adventure.
The stays, sightseeing and transfers were arranged in a way that allowed them to move through the trip without constantly worrying about the next booking.
This gave them something valuable during their holiday: the freedom to be present.
Instead of spending their time coordinating plans, they could enjoy the view from their private pool, laugh together on the Jungle Swing, watch the sunset at Tanah Lot, feel the excitement of parasailing and experience the cliffs of Nusa Penida.
That is where Thrillophilia’s role mattered most.
The planning stayed in the background, while the experiences remained at the centre of their journey.
A Journey Worth Recommending
On their final day, Sunil and Ashwini left for the airport.
Seven days had passed quickly.
They had arrived in Bali looking forward to a break together and returned home with memories from some of the island’s most beautiful places.
For Sunil, the experience was simple to describe.
He rated the trip 5 out of 5 and shared:
“Well planned and Amazing trip for us with the details experienced. I am strongly recommending.”
Perhaps that is the best way to remember a good holiday.
Not by how many places you managed to visit, but by how much of the journey you were able to enjoy.
For Sunil and Ashwini, Bali became a trip filled with new experiences, shared adventures and moments they could carry home together.
