Hon Chong Beach, Nha Trang: The narrow granite promontory of Hon Chong offers fine views of the mountainous coastline north of Nha Trang and the nearby islands. The beach here has a more local flavor than Nha Trang Beach (but the accompanying refuse is unpleasant). Still, it's fun to watch the local kids do Acapulco-style swan dives into the ocean. A well-known spot of scenic beauty, the Rock Hon Chong is not only attractive to visitors to Nha Trang but also no less allure to the local inhabitants, children as well as grownups who have made frequent visits to this place. Also known as the Chua Long Son,Pagoda Long Son is arranged on the foothill of Trai Thuy Mountain in the city of Nha Trang. The temple is well known for its substantial white Buddha picture, which sits on the mountain peak and can be seen from anyplace nearby. This temple was built in the year 1886 in the style of Taoist engineering, Long Son Pagoda has been home to some high-positioning Buddhist friars and the Vietnam Buddhist Studies Foundation was established here in 1936.
