How to reach?

It takes around 7 hours to cover the distance between the two places. A handful of direct flights are available from Mumbai and New Delhi to Zurich. Most flights to Switzerland have at least one layover, usually in European or Middle-Eastern cities like Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Milan, Dubai, Doha, or London.

Day 1
Arrival in Lucerne | Welcome to the magical city of Switzerland

  • Arrive at the Zurich Airport and get ready with the necessary documentation for the immigration process.
  • It will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending upon the people in the queue.
  • After the immigration process, take public transport (bus) using a Swiss Pass to reach your pre-booked hotel.
  • Board a train from Zurich to Lucerne and after reaching Lucerne, head towards your hotel
  • Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and you could choose to spend the day in leisure
  • You can stroll around the streets of Lucerne, stroll around the markets and collect souvenirs for your loved ones.
  • Head back to the hotel for the overnight stay.
  • Overnight stay in Lucerne.

  • Board the train to Engelberg and marvel at the beauty of the passing snowscapes
  • After reaching Engelberg, it’s time for you to experience the Rotair- The world’s first revolving cable car.
  • The revolving gondola will take you to a summit of 3020 meters before which it will revolve 360 degrees offering you pristine views of snow-covered mountains, steep rock faces, and deep crevasses
