How To Reach

The best way to reach Zero Point is to reach Sonamarg first. It is located 23.9 kilometres away from Zero Point. From Sonamarg, you will have to drive to Zoji La Pass, at the end of which is Zero Point. The drive to Zero Point can take around 1 to 2 hours, depending on the road and weather conditions. 

  • By Rail: The closest major railway station is the Srinagar Railway Station. It is about 105.3 kilometres from Sonamarg. From here, you can opt for bus services, private taxis, or shared cabs to reach your destination.

Zero Point in Sonamarg is an attraction worth visiting any time of the year.

Best Season: The best time to visit is from February to June for accessible roads, views of snow, and pleasant weather.

Best Day: Weekdays are ideal to avoid crowds, offering a more serene experience.

Best Time of Day: Early mornings, between 07:00 a.m. and 09:00 a.m., are perfect for witnessing the clearest views and experiencing mild weather.
