WAT SRISOONTHORN

Located in the heart of Thalang, the temple is a house to one of the most beautiful attractions in Phuket, the statue of the sleeping Buddha that welcomes you while entering the holy place. Besides, the large complex houses multiple images and temples of Buddha that bring an immense vibe of tranquility to the place.

Constructed around 1792, the temple was named Wat Srisoonthorn by the then-King of Thailand, Rama I.
