Wat Phra Singh Overview

Wat Phra Singh, located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a revered Buddhist temple known for its stunning architecture and religious significance. Dating back to the 14th century, the temple houses the sacred Phra Singh Buddha image.

Buddhist temples are one of the major highlights of Thailand. Wat Phra Singh, located on the northernmost island of Chiang Rai, is one of the oldest Buddhist temples of the island country. With great decors, and antique golden motifs in pure Thai Lanna style, the temple contains the ubosot, viharn, and a chapel bearing the footmarks of Lord Buddha.
