Sringeri Overview
Sringeri has some very interesting attractions in Karnataka which include the Sharada Peetham, the four temples established by Adi Shankaracharya that faces in the four directions. These are - Kere Anjaneya Temple in the West, Kala Bhairava Temple in the East, Durgamba Temple in the South and Kalikamba Temple in the North. Another major attraction in Sringeri is the River Tunga. There are several temples built on the river bank and it is also home to a variety of fresh water fish. The water of the Tunga River is also known for its freshness and wonderful taste. 

Another point of interest in Sringeri is the way they celebrate their festivals. If you are lucky, you can also catch a glimpse of their colorful cultural rituals and Navratri festival and the unbelievable crown of countless people. 

The best time to visit Sringeri is between October to March when the weather and ideal to explore all the attractions here. The temperature stays around 21-24 degrees, which is great to enjoy the place more comfortably. If you visit Sringeri in monsoon, then you might get medium to heavy rains, which can interrupt the trip and other activities. But, monsoon also makes the scenery more enjoyable and enthralling, the temperature stays around 23 to 29 degrees. Avoid visiting the place in summer as the temperature can rise to 30 to 32 degrees.
