Royal Botanic Garden Overview
This is a botanist's playground and a scientific center designed to study plants and their conservation. Established in 1670, Royal Botanic Garden is the second oldest botanic garden in Britain that offers a relaxing and blissful escape to the visitors from the maddening crowd of city life.

It is one of the best Edinburgh tourist places founded in 1670 to grow medicinal plants. This garden's living collection consists of more than thirteen thousand three hundred and two plant species, while the herbarium contains three million preserved specimens. The garden lights up with many magical lights during the winters, making it look like a fairytale world.
