Mangrove Safari Overview

Another scenic view is offered by adorable and unique formations of limestone rocks bulging out of the floor of the mangrove seabed and swamp. These amazing wonders of nature have been given as fascinating names as they are. These include the Hanging Gardens, Temple of Borobodur, and the Elephant Stone. How To Reach

Langkawi’s famous mangrove safari takes place in Kilim Nature Park, which can be reached via a taxi or a rental car. To reach the Kilim Geoforest Park, use Persiaran Putera Road (Route 110) if you are driving from Kuah Jetty and turn right onto Ayer Hangat Road (Route 112). Just after passing the Galeria Perdana building, turn right into the road that will take you directly to the Kilim River Tourist Jetty.

Best Time To Visit

Although the Kilim Geoforest Park is open throughout the year, the best time to take a Mangrove Safari is during the migratory season, which runs from September to March. During this period, the weather is also favourable for going on a boat tour and enjoying the beach.
