Khadkhad Dam

Undoubtedly, one of the most recommended things to do in Jawhar on your visit is to visit this humongous dam and admire the beauty around it. The way to the dam is very narrow with some beautiful views of the surroundings and small villages, which will make your visit even more adventurous. You shall be able to hear the roaring sound of falling water from a distance and get to admire the majestic reservoir on reaching the dam.

It is a perfect place for picnicking and there is a small café near the dam which will serve you fresh refreshments. The view on reaching the destination is actually unmatchable and if you get to visit the place during the peak season when the water is overflowing, the scene becomes more beautiful. There is also a small playground near the reservoir, which is equipped with play equipment for children.
