Post early morning breakfast, start cycling to Bir that takes us through small villages, rice fields, tea estates and the beautiful town of Palampur.
Go for a quick dip in the Binwa River and drive to Billing.
Watch the sun set over the town of Bir as we camp overnight with on the top of the mountain with a bonfire to keep us warm, some music and endless conversations as we stare at a sky full of stars.
Cycling time: 6 hours with breaks for rest and lunch included.
Experience bird’s eye view as you paraglide your way down to Bir.
Check in to your stay and head for lunch to the Deer Park Institute, to learn more about their philosophy and initiatives.
Enjoy a leisurely walk in this quaint village.
In the evening visit the beautiful Chokling Monastery.
Overnight stay in an Eco-resort at Bir.
Option of a yoga session or even a massage early morning.
Post breakfast; visit one of the very few nunneries of the region on your way to McLeod Ganj.

How’s the weather there?
The weather in McLeod Ganj and Bir is the best March to June end. Expect the temperature in the day to touch a high of 26 °C, with a low of 11 °C.
Do we have to get to McLeod Ganj ourselves?
Yes. McLeod Ganj is well connected by flight and road. Some options which you can look into are: You can take a direct flight to Dharamshala, and take a cab from there to McLeod Ganj. You can take a flight/train/bus to Chandigarh and board an overnight bus to McLeod Ganj. o You can take a flight/train/bus to Delhi and board an overnight bus to McLeod Ganj. o You can take a flight/train/bus to Delhi and board a train to Pathankot. From Pathankot, you can take a cab/bus to McLeod Ganj.
Where will we be staying?
We believe in supporting the locals and sharing experiences with them. We will be staying in different home stays or places which have the vibe of home stays and camps throughout the journey. All accommodations would be on a double sharing basis.
Will all of our meals be part of the package?
Yes. All meals from lunch on Day 1 to breakfast on Day 5 will be included in the package. Food, beverage and dining are an important part of any place you visit. So got out there to visit their local food and culture.
What is the difficulty level of cycling?
The cycling route is through the main McLeod-Bir road, it has beautiful views and cuts through forests of different types. The route is approx. 60 kms. The estimated cycling time will be about 4.5 hours. About 40% of the route is leveled without inclined, 25% is uphill and the remaining 35% is downhill. We will be using professional mountain bikes manufactured by brands like Firefox. A safety Jeep will accompany us on this cycle rid. So in case you want to opt out, so in case you want to opt out, you can always hop into the safety vehicle. Also, you will never ride without a helmet.
What about the return journey?
Our journey ends in McLeod Ganj by 11 am on day 5. You can plan your return journey from McLeod Ganj to your destination or you can even extent your stay by a day or two if you want to
How many people will be on the trip?
We like to keep our trips small and intimate. So this trip will have a maximumof 12 people. For any further queries that you may have (or to stake claim to your spot on the trip!) please feel free to get in touch.
How will the paragliding experience be like?
Paragliding is fun and even though flying solo is the best, if you aren’t an experienced flier landings might hurt! Hence paragliding with us will be a tandem ride where a pro instructor shall accompany you while you soar above the clouds.
Do I need to be physically fit to undertake this trip?
Well not really, unless you huff and puff and pass out from exertion after a 15 minute walk.
