About the Activity:

Explore India’s exotic wildlife with a tour to the famous Tadoba wildlife sanctuary in Chandrapur! Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve is a pristine and unique eco-system situated in the Chandrapur district of the Maharashtra State of India. The reserve contains some of the best forest tracks and it is endowed with rich biodiversity. It is famous for its natural heritage and is the second Tiger Reserve in the State. While here, you will pay a visit to Baba Amte’s village called Anandwan. Founded in 1948, Anandwan today is a self contained village which you would love to explore!


Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Leave for Nagpur by Nagpur Duronto, Train No.12289 at 8:00 PM from CSTM.

  • Day 2 -

    Pick up from Nagpur and go to Hemalkasa via Chandrapur.

    Enjoy lunch at Chandrapur at 2:00 PM.

    On the way Visit to Hemalkasa by 01:00 PM.

    Explore Hemalkasa at 03:00 PM.

    After lunch start journey for Tadoba Reach Mohurli.

    Check-in and Dinner.

    Stay at Mohurli.

  • Day 3 -

    Wake up at 07:00 AM.

    Bird watching.

    Breakfast.

    After lunch, leave for afternoon safari at 02:30 PM.

    Return and relax and have tea, followed by dinner.

  • Day 4 -

    Start early morning at 05:30 AM.

    Go for Morning safari.

    Breakfast at 10.30 AM.

    Post lunch, start travelling for Nagpur by 01:00 PM.

    Visit Anandwan on the way.

    Drop to Nagpur Railway station by 07:00 PM.

    Back by Duronto express.

  • Day 5 -

    Reach Mumbai early morning.

    Beautiful dense jungle and one of the best places to see tigers. We stayed there for 3 days and had a wonderful tour around the forest. If you are fond of bird watching you can just relax and watch various species of birds. I have been on other wildlife tours too and this was definitely one of the best. We spotted a few deers and other animals too when they were out to drink water.
