It was a great trekking experience and my fellow trekkers were very friendly. We have become one trekking family at the end of this trip. Whatever best possible could be offered in the weather was given to us.

Awesome place, host n food in the midst of nature. The hosts were cool n amazing. They helped in every bit we asked. But, yes, it can be overcrowded on long weekends. PS: It would be better if you have our own vehicle........Do not look for more reviews just book it and enjoy ????

First of all I would like to thank Coorg local team for wonderful arrangements and management. Special thanks to Mr Pavan and Mr Arun Anna. Votecad Nature camp : If you want to feel the nature really surrounded by Rain forest, this is the place. a nutshell this place has- coffee gardens, tea garden, river rafting, trek to brahmagiri, camping, irrupu falls. you can easily reach their by public transportation. Food is really awesome including breakfast, lunch, dinner. Barbeque and Coorg wine is served by the Votecad nature camp. overall I would say that if you are planning for a short trip in South Coorg, this place is perfect.

Fun filled package.Rafting was wonderful. Trekking is beautiful except the attack from leeches. Found plenty of them on the way and we put salt everywhere but still after returning also, I had one on my socks. Food was traditional and some people did not like it because it was too spicy I think. But apart from that the entire trip, especially the camping part was amazing. Suggesting all of you should try this trip once.

I was very doubtful about this event at first, but my friend took me anyhow and I thank for that. :D What an amazing and unique event! Hatsoff to the organizers.. They took care of everything from food to bathrooms to all activities. Very different from other mainstream camping options. I'm already waiting for the next time.

Had a great time at this adventurous event. The place was near Gonikoppal and was it's natural beauty was at its peak during the monsoon season. We had a great time trekking and camping under the sky. The bonfire and barbecue was awesome as we got to know a lot of new people who were crazy about adventure and travelling like myself. I enjoyed the obstacle course very much and had a good time dancing in the rain. The experience was crazy. It was like we found a heavenly retreat in the midst of nature. Amazing event! Thanks to all my co-travelers. :)

A group of 15 people was there last time when I attended this monsoon series. Since it was heavily raining, trekking were really adventurous. But the guides with us were really confident and helped us reach till a point of the hill because climbing up the hill to the top was very difficult then. Barbecue and campfire did not happen due to the rain so the fun level was low in the evenings.

Trekking and camping were the good activities and since it was raining too much, we could not enjoy campfire and all. Rafting was also fine. Food was mainly non veg but still manageable for vegetarians too. It was a fun package but the cost was unexpected for the first time but after the trip, I understood it will come around like that. Everyone should try.

The Trekking, River Rafting and the weather were awesome. we friends had good memories with lot of enjoyment. The home made wine served was also good. Non drinkers can try it, begin with it. Also thanks for good and friendly guiding throughout the trip. Here are some of the thinks needs to be improved : - Self introduction among different groups is needed at the beginning of the trip. - Food served was not much appreciable. - Slush games and mud race was not organised.

Decent camp. Rain is not a problem at all, it's an add on to the experience. Camping area is indeed rainproof. Food is slightly better for non vegetarians. I would definitely recommend this camp. Three best experiences were: 1. Jeep rides in the jungle 2. Long trek to brahmagiri mountain 3. Rafting All amenities at the camp were good. Much more than what I expected in a remote camping location.

The trip was adventurous and it was nice to meet new faces. The venue chosen for the event was perfect. Full of greenery, amazing weather, very secluded and private, just nice for 60 of us. It is a little difficult to find the venue as transport was not included but thankfully the host was reachable and he helped us arrive at the venue. Breakfast was paratha and aloo veggie. Event planned for the day was trekking which is 6km up Bharmagiri, unfortunately, we did not make it up as time and weather was not good. There were quite a few leeches as well where trekkers were not comfortable. Thankfully our guides helped us with salt. We came home half way from the trek, played volleyball, football and it was nice to get to know each other. By 6pm barbeque, home made wine and music were getting set up by the host. We had briyani for dinner. We slept in tents with sleeping bags given by the host. 2 toilets each for ladies and gents. Water supply was an issue but rectified quickly by the host. Breakfast was poori and aloo veggie. White water rafting the next day was good, calming, and the rain was there to make it a memorable experience. We were allowed to jump off our boats swim with our friends. Was relaxing and the main reason to get away from the city. We took some photos, received a souvenir from Thrillophilia's team and left for home. Overall a good experience away from the city, bringing us back to nature and enjoying the simple pleasures.

When the monsoons started, we started making plans to go on an a trek somewhere in the Western Ghats. This Thrillophilia event looked promising and adventurous enough. We booked it right away and set off. We reached Gonikappalu early morning on Saturday and were picked up by a jeep, by the organizers and taken to the camp site. We did some serious off-roading on the way, passing through muddy roads with thick jungles on both sides. When we reached the camp site we were blown away by the beauty of the place. The campsite was like an open field surrounded on all sides by jungles with the western ghats peeking through them. Some 200m from our tents hidden behind the trees was a small stream which was in itself a spectacle. A light drizzle kept coming and going all through the two days we spent there. We started off the day with a trek.It seemed simple enough, but the leeches were something of a challenge as they kept trying to get on to us. The tour guides helped us to deal with them with help of salt and sticks. Although we could not complete the trek to the summit it was still a very exciting and adventurous trek. On returning back to the base of the hill we had our lunch and headed back to the campsite. All the different groups had become well acquainted with each other and we played some throw-ball which was great fun. The evening was made 'happening' with some great barbecue, groovy music and a bonfire. The party went on quite late into the night. The next day, we woke up and had our breakfast which wasn't all that great. Then we headed out to do some rafting. The rafting site was serene, a gently flowing river with green trees on both sides. We were provided life jackets for safety which would keep us afloat. We rowed down the river for some time and jumped into the river for a swim. It started raining just about then and we all felt wonderful and we floated on the water with the rain falling on us. To sum it up, it was a wonderful experience that will always bring back some great memories. While the campsite and the rafting was the best part of the event. The trekking and the food could have been better organized. I would definitely recommend it to people who love the outdoors and do not mind the rain.

I am a fitness freak and love travelling. This one was like the perfect one for me. Something far away from the city noise and totally filled with fun and adventure. The best part were the mud games and obstacle courses. It was raining at that time, but nothing could stop us. The trek is filled with such beauty that it left me spell-bounded. Overall a must go for everyone who's looking for something different..

Trek and rafting was amazing. Tents were very dirty and smelling. On the name of local cuisine, they served mostly rice and sambhar. Worst for veg people, they were not even served paneer whereas non veg people were served chicken for dinner, non our way back from camp, we saw a lady washing plates (in which we were served food) in a nearby stagnant muddy water stream. I have attached a pic of the same for your reference.
