Wakeboarding is a high adrenaline pumped watersport which can blow you body and mind. In this, the rider stands on the wakeboard which has foot bindings and is towed behind a motorboat across its wake. The aerial movements and the waves are filled with adventure and excitement. There is no need for balance or any curve learning to enjoy this adventure sport. The thrilling experience of wakeboarding Koh Tao can range from mild to wild levels. Many mid-air tricks can be adopted for aerial performance by professionals. The rider is usually towed by a rope behind a boat but can also be towed by cable systems and winches. Some riders also go for other motorized vehicles like personal watercraft, cars, trucks and other terrain vehicles. The gear and wakeboard boat used can be personalized as per the rider’s liking. Moving forward and understanding about the wakeboarding equipment, the life vest and other buoyancy aids prevent injuries and deaths during the ride. These vests are helpful if the rider is knocked unconscious or cannot handle the excess water. Moreover, the wakeboarders use water-resistant helmets that are able to move the water out so that the helmets do not fill up with water. Considering the safety of the rider, the length of the rope is pertinent. If the rope is too long, a wakeboarder will land on the flat part of the wake instead of the downside, and their knees will buckle. Thus, maintaining that under the guidance of a professional is important. The time duration of a wakeboarding ride can vary from 15 minutes to 80 minutes as per the riders’ choice. The boat is capable of holding up to 4 people, and the ride is available in the mornings or late afternoons, sunset rides. The koh tao water sports not only include wakeboarding but tubing and standup paddleboarding are also popular.
