Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Bhermodev Temple- Baiga, Gond Tribal Village

    Tour Bhermodev, Visit Bhermodev Temple, Tour Baiga Tribal Village, Tour Gond Tribal Villages

    Today, revel in an excursion trip to the inviting Bhermodev area where you can tour the ancient and revered Bhermodev temple. Come evening and get a whiff of the tribal life at the Baiga and Gond tribal villages nearby. The Baiga tribes are renowned for beautiful basket making and artistic tattooing as it is an integral part of their life style.

  • Day 2 - Bhubaneswar

    Tour Temple Town, Visit Khandagiri Caves, Visit Udayagiri Caves

    This pleasant morning, relive history as you take a heritage walk in the Temple Town. The oldest part of the city, it is here that you will amble through finely built miniature temples, striking water tanks, delightful small shrines and traditional bazaars. Seek blessings at the Hindu worship inside the temple. In the evening, enjoy the mesmerising sunset visit to the ancient Caves at Khandagiri and Udayagiri. Perched on two adjacent green hills, these caves hold historical and religious significance.

  • Day 3 - Bhubaneswar-Nuapatna- Joranda- Dhenkanal

     Visit Weaver’s village, Tour Metal Worker Village, Visit Joranda Monastery

    Today morning, take a delightful visit to the weaver’s village at Nuapatna. It is here that you will get to see first-hand, the deft and skilful weaving of the traditional weavers who have retained the age-old craft.  Come evening, and stroll through the charming metal worker village at Sadeibareni. Around sunset, pay a visit to the holy monastery at Joranda where Mahima sadhus pray to be bestowed with peace and harmony.

  • Day 4 - Dhenkanal-Heerapur-Pipli-Konark

     Visit Sixty Four Yogini Temple, Tour Balakati Village,

    This morning, take a tour of beautifully carved Sixty Four Yogini Temple that is nestled amidst tranquil surroundings. Post which, have a unique experience at the bell metal worker village at Balakati. When the evening commences, head to delightful Pipli to see the colourful appliqué work. Visit the fisher man village at the world famous Konark.  

    Overnight stay at Konark.

  • Day 5 - Konark-Raghurajpur-Puri

    Visit Sun Temple, Experience Artisan and Painter Village

    Begin the sightseeing day with a visit the iconic Sun Temple. Dating back to 200 years, this legendary stone structure makes a quite sight with a massive chariot of 12 pairs of wheels to carry the god. After that, experience the simple life at the refreshing farmer village.  Later during the day, reel in artistic pleasures at the artisan and painter village. The highlights of this day will be traditional lunch, Gotipua dance, short walk and the ever smiling people.

  • Day 6 - Puri

    Heritage Walk at Puri, Visit Jagannath Temple, Visit Villages of Puri

    In the first half of the day, embark on a heritage walk in the old world charms of Puri. Embrace the sights of quaint old buildings, water tanks, craft centres and small shrines. Also, pay respects at the world famous Jagannath temple. The ornately carved shrine belongs to the 12th century. The second half of the day is where you will visit the various villages of the earth heaven of Puri. This includes Kumbarpada, the temple pottery village, Pathuria Sahi, the stone carver village and Chitrakar Sahi, the painter village. Enjoy the sunset walk along the beach market.

  • Day 7 - Puri-Chilika Lagoon-Rambha

    Visit Satapada, Visit Chilika Lagoon, Experience Catamaran Ride

    This balmy morning, take a short drive to Satapada. Here, experience glee in the boat ride in the lap of the largest back water lagoon in Asia known as Chilika lagoon along with the Ramsar site.  It is here that you are rewarded with sights of migratory birds and the rare Irrawaddy dolphins. On the other side of the lake, post a ferry ride, a riveting drive through exotic rural villages, lush paddy fields and canals awaits.  In the evening, enjoy a short catamaran ride in the alluring lake.

    Overnight stay in a hotel overlooking to the lake. 

  • Day 8 - Rambha--Chandragiri-Taptapani 

    Visit Chandragiri Tibetan Village

    Drive to Taptapani to revitalise at the stay among the green forest and natural hot spring. Refresh with the unique experience of hot sulphur bath in comfort of your own room. Take a short drive to Chandragiri Tibetan Village where nearly ten thousand Tibetan refugees settled .The highlight is seeing their carpet making work shop and the monastery.

    Overnight stay in the hotel at Taptapani. 

  • Day 9 - Taptapani- Lanjia Saura Village-Rayagada

    Visit Aryan Tribal Village, Tour Shaman House

    Post a hearty breakfast, head to the mineral rich district of Rayagada. En route, visit the Aryan tribal village that is known as Lanjia Saura. Unravel their lifestyle during hiking of their village. Their main occupation is farming using the traditional methods of wooden plough and hoe. Enrich the experience at the Shaman house where you can see the rare mud wall painting.  In the evening, take an exhilarating drive through thick jungles and twisting hill tracks. En route visit more villages.

    Overnight in a standard hotel, at Rayagada.

  • Day 20 -  Raipur- Delhi/Mumbai/Hyderabad

    Transfer to the domestic airport for the onward destination.
