This was my maiden trek and I am glad I chose Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Saheb. I carried home tonnes of great memories from the trip that I will cherish for my life. Serene Nature, Splendid weather, a great company of cousins, new friends we made and the team who lead the trek made a perfect mixture to cherish. While the chirpy young kept the team charged, the conviction of the others was inspirational to the rest. I am also glad that Thrillophillia conducts this trip. The field team lead by Yogi and Sandeep was awesome. At some point or other everyone in the group were amazed with their knowledge, patience, perseverance, untiring efforts to make the trip a memorable and comfortable one for the entire team. Their daily briefing was quite interesting. Valley of flowers amazed us with the nuances it offered every minute. The continuous rain, the chill of the breeze, narrow steep path, rolling stones, changing landscape every minute, moving clouds around you, crossing the river over narrow bridges…. The list goes on and on Hemkund Saheb is another marvel. This place left most of the team members ecstatic. What a bliss. The only place I have seen made many people cry with joy. A place that one must visit atleast once in their lifetime. The trek(mule ride), the hospitality at the Gurudwara were breathtaking. It was a testimony to what faith can bring out of people. We could see people of all age groups from 3 to 70+ trek all the way from Govindghat to Hemkund Saheb, carrying children and luggage on shoulders and sometime on mules. Wow… We were exposed to a new world of Ghangaria which come alive in March and sleeps over from October. A town that has everything active only for 4 months.

The trek was amazing. I had heard about this trek from many people and when I actually went for it, I got to know why it's so popular. The pick up from Haridwar was punctual, but we reached Govindghat a bit late because of bad roads. Next day, we started to Ghangharia and the view was spectacular. After that came the main day when we went for Valley of Flowers, the view and weather was just spectacular. Didn't want to leave the place but because of time constraints had to start the return trip to guesthouse. Trek to Hemkund Sahib was great as well because of all the natural beauty and glaciers that we get to see when we are at top. The Kund in the Gurudwara is just beautiful. Couple of places where the trip could have been better: 1) Food taste wasn't upto the mark. I'd like to request Thrillophilia guys to please take a look into this. 2) Guides need to be given walkie-talkie for better communication. We saw other tour operators' guides carrying walkie-talkie. This makes the trek and communication a bit better. Overall, it was a great experience. Met many new people, made many new friends, got to see too much natural beauty. A great trip, that's how I'd like to finish.

It was my second trek. As I always wanted to visit VOF and hemkund because of its mesmerizing view. And one can't describe the view in one word. It was beyond description. I am happy that I choose THRILLOPHILIA in terms of trek leaders like Dinesh Ji, Jaydeep bhaiya and Of course Sandeep bhaiya the man with full of caring and understanding and the awesome trekking group. But if I talk about the food it was not good. The food they have served during trekking was not enough for a adult one. The quality of food and accomodation in govindghat is terrible. And as according to our package it was Haridwar to Haridwar. But they didn't provide lunch while travel back to Haridwar. So if you are planning to go with THRILLOPHILIA make sure you take all the details from them. Thank you.??

As a destination Valley of flowers and hemkund sahib are really awesome and will fulfill your thirst for the beauty you look for when u go for a trek. It has everything one would expect. Lush green valleys, view of flowers in full bloom, mighty rivers, flowing streams, glaciers and what not. Plan your trip in months of July and August as this is the time when vof is in it's full glory. Hemkund sahib trek is one of it's kind experience. The trek has some steep sections but the destination is worth all the effort you put in. Carefully check about the routes before you begin your journey as these areas are subject to landslides during the monsoon times.

So we were a group of 10. First were skeptical about how the trip would be manged by them as it was our first time plus everyone was about 50 year age but once we reached there evrything looked well managed and the staff was very nice and friendly. They explained everything to us very nicely. When the trek got a bit difficult for couple of them, subhash and jaydeep were very helpful. Special thanks to them. Ofcourse the trek is beautiful and no doubt about that.

Had a wonderful experience with the trek in Aug 2019. Reaching Haridwar was the tough part since mine was planned on short notice. But Thrillophilia helped in getting ready especially since my train to Haridwar was delayed but the people on the ground managed the situation without affecting the schedule. Since it was my first trek had been apprehensive of how things will pan out. But the guides who joined us from Govindghat were helpful. Besides ours was a relatively young team which made everyone's life easier. The trek to Ghangaria was manageable with just distance being the obstacle. Reaching VOF was an serene experience with beautiful mist covered mountains and flowers all round. Hemkund was tougher trek but no issues faced other than sore legs. The guides explained to us about the flowers on the way. On the last day since we had time left in Govindghat the team was gracious enough to even arrange a trip to Badrinath and Mana. About the cons I would say food can be improved even though its a vegetarian one. Plus better coordination of the team like a team leader since there are people of different temperaments would be ideal. On the whole a great experience and looking forward to more treks from Thrillophilia.
