About the activity:

Enjoy the retreating monsoon by Velas beach, in a quaint little village. Spend time with the friendly natives of this village by the sea on your next holiday. Velas is a village situated in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. It is known for its baby turtle hatching festivals. Other places you can see here are Harihareshwar and Bankot Fort. Harihareshwar is one of the small but beautiful towns situated in a place of tranquility etched along the Konkan border in Maharashtra. Roughly 200 kms from Mumbai, this is a great weekend getaway to relax for the busy and workaholic metropolitan crowd. One of the best features of this place is that it combines your religious and rejuvenating trip at the same time, with its temples! Bankot, on the other hand, is a town in India. Its most famous structure is Bankot Fort. This was the first residency of the British Raj in Southern Konkan. Explore this square shaped fort on your visit to Velas Beach!


Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Meeting Point

    11:00 PM: Pritam Hotel, Dadar East

  • Day 2 -

    05:00 AM: Reach Velas

    06:00 AM: Freshen up, Visit Velas Beach for that amazing sunrise!

    07:30 AM: Return to the Villagers Home for some local breakfast

    08:30 AM: Post breakfast, head to Bankot Fort and explore around. (15 Minutes Trek)

    01:00 PM: Return to Velas for devouring some delicious Vegetarian Konkani Food.

    Spend the afternoon lazing around by the shore or in the village, talk to locals, explore around.

    05:00 PM: Laze around the beach.

    08:30pm: Return post all the fun for Dinner and a Night Walk around the village.

  • Day 3 -

    05:30AM: Wake Up Call

    06:00 AM: Freshen up and head to the beach for some walking, posing, clicking and beach games.

    09:30 AM: Return for Breakfast and then with the troop, we'll head to Harihareshwar Temple

    11:00 AM: Enroute Harihareshwar

    01:00 PM: Lunch at Harihareshwar/ Mangoan

    03:00 PM: Bid goodbye to the sands and beaches! Enroute Mumbai.

    10:00 PM: Reach Dadar

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
