I and my friends went to tosh in last december. The weather was so much chilled but still we had so much fun there. The food was fantastic and the views was excellent. It was a peaceful place where you might be not only enjoy nature but also you would fall in love with the nature. The mountains were capped with the snows which offered a enchanting scenery.

Tosh is situated at a height of 7,874ft and leads to the beautiful Pin Parvati Pass. The average temperature here ranges between 2°C and 7°C and dips below the freezing point in winters and we started our journey in mid December that was really very chilled weather but we enjoyed so much. We had a snowfall there and enjoyed it very much. So if you are planning to go to the place in winter you should have your warm cloth.

The place was open and vibrant. After exploring the region we also trekked up to Animal Pass and found the mesmerizing views from its summit. Further we visited a lake near the pass that offers a eye capturing view of the majestic Deo Tibba Range.

Tosh is the place we would like to visit again and again. To see the double rainbow on waterfall was such a inexplicable feeling. I had never seen that beauty of nature before ever. It was such a wonderful feeling. The experience was out of world.

Tosh is much populated and not surrounded by thick meadows. Trekking trail passes through ranches and unorganized plantation of Marijuana. Accommodation and food options are in surplus in Tosh and are in much better shape. Distinct smell of Marijuana is the first impression of Tosh. There was a plenty of smoke joints, food joints, pizza corner, tea stalls and restaurants. But if you wished to have something Indian food then you would come in the trouble because there was difficult to get typical Indian meal but definitely get Israeli food everywhere in the village. Overall the food was tasty and yummy.

The little town of kasol in himachal pradesh is called the backpacker’s heaven! Somehow this place has not gained much popularity amongst Indians but one is to find many foreign backpackers in Kasol. Tosh is full of accommodation options. there are handful of homestays and hotels. So it was easy and comfortable to stay there and it was nice place to spend the weekend. I really enjoyed in the place with my cousin. The village was little but so beautiful and scenic.

I must say that Tosh is the untouched beauty of nature. There were great views all around and we really had lots of fun and adventure during the entire trek. Most commendable and appreciated views was tosh glaciers. It was like being in heaven. The forest was beautiful and so much peaceful.

Kasol is a beautiful town on the bank of river parvati and is generally the base camp of all the hippies. Tosh Valley trek is a way to discover the natural beauty and scenery of the Himalayas. I liked the Tosh Glacier the most. It was beautiful and adorable.

The Sight of the Parvati Valley’s Dam was impressive. The convergence of the Tosh and Parvati River forms the basin. The tosh river was surrounded by dense pine and fir forest. On the way we may come across waterfalls that gushing down the mountain slopes. And The view from there was astonishing.

The place was really so much beautiful. Trekking uphill through the forest is a shorter route to reach Tosh. Cab’s are also available to take there for a minimum charge of 200 Rupees. The food was delicious and cheap . But there would be difficult to find a typical Indian restaurant though.

The village lies on the slope of a mountain overlooking the river and a waterfall. There would be plenty of cafe’s with great Israeli and European food and There was plenty of decent guesthouses, from ones with little wooden rooms in traditional hill houses to modern ones with water heaters and televisions.

To enter the village, one has to walk over a wooden bridge.Tosh are mostly backpacker from Israel, UK and Italy. There was really few guest houses in that village and people usually rent rooms in village homes. The people was really nice and generous in nature.
